The successful candidate will support the Risk Manager in developing, updating and implementing the firm’s risk management framework.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Manage the implementation of all aspects of the risk function, including implementation of processes, tools and systems to identify, assess, measure, manage, monitor and report risks.
Assist in the development and management of processes to identify and evaluate business areas’ risks and risk and control self-assessments.
Assist with monitoring and management of Enterprise, Market, Operational and Liquidity risk in accordance with the firm’s risk appetite.

Reporting directly to the MD, Investment Banking, you will provide specialist advisory services on Capital Markets, Mergers & Acquisitions, Divestitures, Privatizations, Joint Ventures/Strategic Alliances, Capital Raising, Corporate Restructuring TRANSACTIONS amongst others.
Support with driving profitability and meeting performance targets by developing the relationships, tactics and business plans necessary to realizing revenue, earnings growth and increase in shareholders’ value.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Responsibility for originating, structuring and executing client projects and mandates

You will have overall responsibility for Information Technology (IT), manage and coordinate the technical infrastructural services and resources in alignment with the business objectives of United Capital Plc.
The CIO will be responsible for the delivery of digital platforms, planning, forecasting the technical services and resources to support the infrastructural and Information System (IS) needs of United Capital and work closely in concert with the CEOs and IT contractors to ensure integration of systems and technology.
