Description
- Provides electrical technical support for the maintenance, operation and troubleshooting of the plant’s electrical systems and equipment.
- Provides leadership and project support for electrical systems as part of process plant investments and/or electrical system modifications. Serves as a resource to other disciplines in all phases of the capital project effort (e.g., provide consulting, power study reviews, equipment strategy development, maintenance reviews, participation in HAZOPs, evaluation of proposed facility equipment or operating mode changes etc.).
- Applies design, equipment, and installation standards for electrical equipment in oil & gas facility applications.
- Stewards progressive electrical technologies for plant applications with sound engineering judgment.
- Provides review and direction in the development of maintenance and operating procedures for electrical equipment.
- Investigates electrical failures and provides recommendations to improve system and equipment reliability.
- Interfaces with diverse groups including vendors, instrument technicians, electricians, process operations and console technicians, process designers, rotating equipment, reliability and process computer control engineers.
- Researches existing electrical designs for safety and reliability vulnerabilities. Develops improvement recommendations and stewards progress.
- Serves as a technical resource to operations and maintenance organizations.
- Reviews and interprets results of electrical testing. Stewards improvements of electrical installations that are not meeting performance expectations. Conducts engineering surveillance on electrical equipment.
- Has working knowledge of industry standards and regulations (e.g. IEEE, NFPA, NEC, ASME, API, NEMA, NETA, NESC).
Job Requirements
- 7-10 years of closely related professional experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering specialty, or equivalent professional experience
- Broad knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria
- Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs
- BS in Electrical Engineering with minimum 5 years of related industry experience preferred.
- Broad experience with Process Plant electrical equipment in a plant environment.
- Demonstrated field engineering experience in Oil & Gas, or EPC industries.

Job Title: Machinery Engineer/ Specialist

Job Description
- Facilitate and coordinate discipline engineering technical work products
- Coordination and communication of various issues among the company’s and contractor’s engineering team that affect the discipline engineering design, safety, and regulatory compliance of the work
- Evaluate / comment work performed by the Contractor and sub-contractors to insure that the work is being executed in accordance with Company specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements. Includes review of discipline design drawings and documents
- Identify and assess deviations to Contract Technical Specifications and regulatory requirements; ensure that such deviations will be processed according to Company procedures; maintains Deviation Control Log.
- Steward discipline engineering queries from the Contractor and sub-contractors as well as technical information requests
- Keep Lead Engineer or Engineering Manager informed of discipline engineering progress, deviations, and execution concerns
- Participate in discipline engineering reviews at Contractor’s and subcontractor’s locations
- Drives and promotes capital efficiency in engineering design

Job Requirements

Job Title: Environmental Scientist

Description
- Provide guidance and advice on Technical, Operational, and Safety, Security, Health and Environmental (SSH&E) aspects of environmental data collection during field operations.
- Act as protected species observer (PSO) during other survey operations
- Responsible for verifying the vendors and their subcontractors adhere to the contract requirements, project plans, and industry standards
- Responsible for communicating Technical, Operational and SSH&E concerns and issues to company office personnel to ensure project proceeds according to Company standards
- Responsible for coordinating work in the field with other operations occurring in the same work area
- Responsible for adhering to SSH&E project requirements
- Responsible for oversight of vendors data collection, field processing, interpretation and reporting
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years field experience
- Must have technical skills to monitor and advise on technical aspects of data acquisition, sample preservation, processing, interpretation, classification and reporting; including; logistics, operations, instrumentation, equipment, recording, and positioning
- Must be well versed in SSH&E practices and processes for field operations
- Must be familiar with the sampling and preservation of water column, surficial and near surficial sediments for environmental, geochemical or geological/geotechnical purposes
- Must be trained at observing and identifying marine mammals or in compliance with the most recent Joint Nature Conservation Committee (JNCC) guidelines (or other standards defined for the area of operations).
- Must have excellent communication skills, possess high level of integrity, and willingness to build trust and accountability in inter-personal relationships while working in team setting
- Must be fluent in both written and spoken English
- Must be proficient in current communication mediums and technologies (i.e., Microsoft Office, telecommunications, email, meetings)
- Must be in good physical condition and shall comply with all project health and safety requirements (including any vendor, vessel or country-specific certifications required to work offshore)
- Must comply with requirements per the agreement.
- Certifications must be current and not due to expire for the anticipated duration of the project
