- Based in Lagos, you will be responsible for the current and future sales business for our DeltaV/SCADA installed base business across Nigeria, primarily focussed on developing the market and working with the Regional Manager, Sales Managers & Reps to promote and drive Lifecycle Services Sales (After Market) throughout the installed base.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
- To become a technical and value proposition expert on all Lifecycle Service offerings for Emerson’s Systems & Solutions products and services
- Be directly responsible for Service Sales
- Assist Sales Managers and Reps in promoting, designing and proposing offerings
- Develop the market & new tools to assist Sales Manager & Specialists in managing the Lifecycle Services business and delivering incremental sales
- Maintain and enhance existing tools to ensure they can be utilized as efficiently as possible and generate increasing value to the sales team
- Develop and deliver marketing campaigns to increase customers’ awareness of Emerson’s Lifecycle Services offerings
- Adhere to local and international Emerson trade compliance and ethics procedures in connection with all transactions and business practices
- Train sales force on Lifecycle Services offerings
- Maintain service sales forecasts and be able to regularly and formally report on service potential
- Work with the proposals team to improve proposal generation efficiency, tracking, and others
- Develop sales strategies for “High Level” services, convert opportunities to LTSAs and take Emerson to the “Trusted Advisor” level
Requirements
- To be considered for this role you will be a Nigerian National with at least 5 years’ experience with Control Systems in the Oil & Gas industry in Nigeria and surrounding region.
- You will ideally come from a technical background and have sales experience with key clients in Nigeria.
- You will have a degree in Engineering, and ideally experience with Emerson products and systems (DeltaV).

- Based in our office on Victoria Island in Lagos, we have a vacancy for a Sales Manager to lead our Pressure Management business across Nigeria, Ghana and Equatorial Guinea with particular focus on aftermarket demand creation and growing market participation. Position PRM as the Supplier of First Choice in the region.
- The Sales Manager systematically develops supports and implements growth strategies to achieve or exceed bookings targets for Nigeria, Ghana and Equatorial Guinea. Opportunities can range from targeted competitive displacement, to a specific industry application, to a defined market segment. Engaging with customers and the local sales organization represented by the LBP under his responsibility will in all cases be essential for successful execution of the job function.
Responsibilities
- Lead Pressure Management Business Unit for solutions, products and services sales & business development initiatives
- Meet or exceed territory financial objectives as required in support of the PRM Middle East & Africa business plan
- Direct, Develop, Collaborate with and support sales team and LBPs in the region
- Develop and implement sales and service strategies for the region that deliver above market growth rates
- Develop and implement plans to drive and grow KOB3 business and maximize revenue and profit from the existing installed base
- Analyze and develop plans with sales team to increase demand for service and solutions
- Prepare and present marketing forecasts, pricing surveys, competitor intelligence and country marketing plans
- Work closely with other Emerson Automation Solutions Business Units and maximize pull-through content
- Take a pro-active role in defining strategies for winning projects as well as supporting project pursuit activities to achieve order conversion and maximize the potential for PRM Business Unit
- Develop long-term relationships with senior management within customer accounts to ensure awareness of the capabilities of PRM Business Unit and Emerson Automation Solutions
- Maintain updated opportunity list in CRM
- Conduct STO and Site Plan activities to maximize aftermarket potential at critical sites
- Improve customer satisfaction by finding solutions to their needs
- Keep up to date with developments in products, industries and market trends
- Ensure Emerson Ethics and trade compliance procedures are strictly followed with all business transactions

Requirements
- To be considered for this role you will have technical sales experience within the Oil & Gas industry, specifically with Mechanical Instrumentation.
- You will have exposure to and experience in dealing with the NOCs & IOCs in Nigeria & surrounding countries.
