Job Title: Senior Marketing Executive
Location: Lagos
Essential Duties/ Key Job Responsibilities
Include but not limited to the following:
- Develop and execute sales strategy for the organization to boost revenue and profitability
- Manages the Client Engagement Process from sourcing to when sales is achieved
- Develop new customer relationships to boost sales pipeline and conversion rates
- Contribute to new products/solutions design, development and delivery
- Manage the order-to-cash cycle, including Customer Acceptance, Invoicing and Payments
- Understand the business, its capabilities, product and service offerings and serve as a missionary to take the service benefits and value propositions to target market
- Define, drive and own the customer satisfaction business requirements towards improving services and its delivery
- Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, requirements, potential and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending “go or no-go” decisions
- Update all information into the CRM as required.

Qualification:
- Good first degree in related discipline
Professional Qualification:
- MBA degree is an added advantage
Experience:
- At least 3 years in a marketing and sales position.
- Should have successfully sold services, advertising & media sales, business solutions within the major industries – Advertising agencies, Media Buying agencies, Telecoms, Financial Services, FMCG, Oil & Gas, Consulting etc.

Job Title: Head of Media Sales & Marketing

Job Description
- The purpose of this role is to establish, promote and implement a broad based marketing & Sales strategy for the company.
- In this role you will develop and integrate marketing strategies and processes that meet business needs across the organisation, implement these strategies, manage complex issues within the area of expertise, be involved in long-term strategic planning for the organisation and contribute to the overall business growth.
Expectations
The Head of Marketing & Sales is responsible for:
- Revenue generation and market share growth.
- Developing strategies, planning, direction, implementation and the evaluation of marketing programs for the organisation.
- Specifically supporting business strategies and projects including but not limited to business growth, market penetration, customer retention, quality, image and perception, improved profit margins and improved market share.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive annual marketing plan/strategy (with tactical outcomes and timelines) as an integrated part of the business plan by optimizing and strengthening the existing commercial models, as well as exploring new means to reach out to the market in order to meet annual business targets.
- Propose marketing initiatives to be implemented throughout the year to support business goals.
- Develop and manage a systematic approach to implementing and tracking marketing projects for the organisation.
- Demonstrate effective management of the marketing, advertising and promotional activities of the organization.
- Implement business development and the pitch process for winning new clients by providing information, data and insights into market needs and customer expectations.
- Manage the development, implementation and review of marketing budgets and targets
Marketing Communications:
- Lead and drive marketing communications for the business. Ensure clear and powerful messages about our services, brands and value proposition to each market segment.
- Develop and drive marketing communications for clients and customers where required to support client’s business.
- Develop communication/advertising strategies to accompany the brand building program and all tactical marketing initiatives (product campaigns, customer education/adoption or promotions) to support our clients and customers.
- Lead and supervise the work of the advertising agency or external providers of advertising and media services where required.
- Utilize critical market & competitive research to segment and define target markets, refine and improve the product value proposition and implement the best market-penetration strategy.
Client Service & Partnering:
- Make timely and regular Marketing and sales calls to clients and ensure the timely implementation of the department’s strategy regarding client management.
- Delivery of sales revenue and grow market share of existing and new client’s business.
- Maintain frequent client interaction and follow up reporting on project status, planning innovation, presenting new initiatives as well as maintaining strong relationships with clients and customers.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with industry thought-leaders, marketing associations and advisors.
- Respond to inquiries from the Chairman/CEO and the Management team regarding marketing efforts, results and special reporting requests as requested. Deliver weekly reports of the marketing department.
- Report on the critical marketing performance ratio of the Company.
- Evaluation and timely reporting of all marketing efforts, initiatives and projects.
Management & Supervision:
- Manage, coordinate and work with the marketing team to ensure all marketing goals, campaigns and strategies are perfectly aligned with the business objectives.
- Ensure efficiency and high quality work of the department.
- Ensure that the department maintains up-to-date and accurate records of business performance related to products and marketing projects such as campaigns, brand and communication initiatives, and client service.
- Prepare and deliver, timely reports and updates to the ED, Commercial and Management on the progress of the department, particularly reports by product, Clients and by marketing initiative
- Set annual performance goals of staff under supervision, guide, coach and monitor performance of same, and execute annual appraisal.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6-8 years’ experience in Sales & Marketing. Experience in Media Sales and Marketing is necessary for success on this role.
- Knowledge of direct marketing (B2B) strategy and execution.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or any of the Social/Behavioural Sciences MBA would be an advantage.

- Preference will be given to those currently engaged in Media Sales.
- Applicants without cognate Media Sales experience should Not apply as they will Not be considered.
