Job Title: Assistant Training Officer – AUN Hotel
Location: Yola, Adamawa
Reporting To: Head of Human Resources
Summary of Position
- Ensuring Employees are fully trained up to the organization standard to do their Jobs effectively and productively.
- As Assistant Training Officer you are to assist your supervisor in directing and organizing employees training platforms to learn new skills and develop existing ones.
Responsibilities
- Drawing up a training plan
- Prepare training budgets and ROI
- Working with training providers to develop suitable content for courses
- Conducts orientation training for new employees
Qualifications
- First Degree is compulsory.
- Professional qualification as certified trainer is compulsory
- Minimum of 2 years in hospitality training and staff development.
Key Competencies & Key Tasks:
- Understanding Hotel Operations
- Demonstrate an interest in and an understanding of issues relevant to the Hotel Departments and updated knowledge of the industry.
- Understands the Hotel’s business priorities, products and services and has a good grasp how Departments runs.

Summary of Position
- The HC GIZ NFS Nurses at the AUN Health Center shall work with the team at the Health Center directly under the Head Nurse to provide clinical and medical support for the Chibok girls (NFS students).
- She should ensure the Health & Wellness of NFS students and work in the dormitory HC annex.
- She should be of service to the students during the day and when urgent instances occur.
Position Requirements
- Nursing Certificate
- Valid License to practice/Nursing registration
- Two(2) to five (5) years of direct work experience
- Basic Nursing Ethic
- Ability to undertake self-directed tasks when necessary.
- Flexible with time.
- Ability to learn
- Attention to detail.
- Capacity to prioritize by assessing situations to determine urgency.
Other Requirements, Abilities for the Position:
- Skill in developing and maintaining effective working relationships.
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.

- The HC GIZ NFS Resident Nurse shall work with the team at the University Health Center directly under the Chief Administrator of the Health Center to provide clinical and medical support for the HC Doctor, nurses and to the patients at the NFS resident hall.
- She/He should ensure the health and wellness of NFS students.
- The incumbent will reside in the NFS residence hall and be of service to the students during the day and when urgent instances occur.
Position Requirements
- Nursing Certificate
- Valid License to practice/Nursing registration
- Two(2) to five (5) years of direct work experience
- Basic Nursing Ethic
- Ability to undertake self-directed tasks when necessary.
