The institution obtained approval for Final License to operate as a Unit Microfinance Bank from Central Bank of Nigeria in March 2017 and commenced full operations in May 2017.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Fund Manager
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- The Fund Manager will be responsible for the marketing functions; raising fund for deposit or investment and the effective management of fund invested.
Selection Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree qualification in a relevant field
- Minimum of 4 year experience in a similar role
- Master’s degree qualification is an added advantage.
- Membership of a relevant professional body (ACCA, ICAN etc) will be an added advantage.
- Must have a keen interest in and understanding of financial market trends
- Ability to prepare financial documents such as disclosures and reports
- Good judgement and decision-making skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in pressured environments
Key Responsibilities
- Raise funds for deposit or investment.
- Manage fund invested and ensuring maximum return is attained.
- Provide financial advisory to client.
- Provide adequate report to client in respect of their deposit/investment.
- Minimize risk that client might be exposed to as a result of the investment vehicle used for investing their fund.
- Ensure that funds operate according to regulatory rules
