Job Description

  • We are looking for an ambitious and self-driven Front-end Developer who can utilize HTML, CSS and jQuery to develop effective user interfaces for web and mobile applications released to the public.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with our development and software design teams to build and update web applications and internal web tools and make them more efficient.
  • The front-end developer will also be responsible for creating innovative solutions to web design issues to help make the website more visually appealing and enhance usability.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review designs created by product designers; ask any necessary clarifying questions before starting on work
  • Write code to implement visual elements into various web applications
  • Create prototypes, mockups, and staging sites for review and feedback
  • Optimize websites and applications to ensure fast loading speeds
  • Maintain web applications and implement any necessary additions or enhancements
  • Identify and troubleshoot various website issues and coding problems
  • Collaborate with members of the website team (including designers and back-end developers) to consistently improve functionality and user-friendliness of the web applications
  • Maintain updated knowledge of the development industry and any advancements in technology
  • Meet tight deadlines as required

Requirements and Qualifications

  • 4+ years in a front-end development role
  • Portfolio or samples of past work and projects
  • Understanding of the entire web development process, with an emphasis on front end design and development
  • Solid grasp of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and various content management systems
  • Ability to interpret and implement web designs

Job Title: Lead, Sales & Partnerships

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • The Lead, Sales & Partnerships is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients and partners of the Company.
  • He or She is expected to drive sales from all Corporate Accounts (across all verticals) and Mobile Network Operators (MNO) in Nigeria and other regions of Africa where the Company operates.
  • He or She is also expected to achieve set financial target from all accounts managed.

Responsibilities
New Business Development:

  • Identify potential clients and the decision makers across all verticals within corporate sectors including FMCG, Financial Services, OEM, Media & Entertainment, Government, Aviation, Transportation, Telecommunications etc.
  • Build, maintain and leveraging available network of contacts to generate new leads.
  • Convert new leads to clients by identifying business needs, managing accounts, cold calling, prospecting, developing a thorough needs analysis and closing targeted opportunities in line with goals set.
  • Have a full understanding of the Company’s products and services and generate demand by presenting them to potential clients through direct communication in face to face meetings, telephone calls and emails.
  • Achieve set financial targets from all accounts managed (MNOs and Corporate clients).
  • Review and monitor competitor products and services, identifying shortfalls, advantages in comparison to the Company’s offerings thus;
  • Recommend enhancements that will give the Company a clear competitive advantage.
  • Drive new business by promoting the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators to prospective clients in comparison to competitors.
  • Actively manage the sales process: leads, prospecting, qualifying, needs analysis, proposal, objections, closing & follow up.
  • Develop sales growth strategies; tactics and action plans required to achieve all the key objectives (financial, operational and customer satisfaction).
  • Prepare proposals relevant to the client’s needs, goals, roadmap and where applicable in response to request for proposals and quotes.
  • Partake in contractual and financial negotiations, where required.

Client Relationship / Account Management:

  • Establish and build relationships with clients on all levels; from officers to executives (CXOs/senior management) to ensure the set financial targets are achieved and exceeded.
  • Identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts by up-selling and cross-selling.
  • Ensure all new/existing services are approved, launched and appropriately campaigned on MNOs network.
  • Ensure timely responses and coordinate resolution to all complaints, queries, requests, and suggestions from clients and partners as the Company’s main interface.

Planning:

  • Actively monitor market trends through clients and by attending industry functions (association events, seminars, conferences) thus recommending new products, services and marketing channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
  • Coordinate and, or represent the Company in promotional events and marketing activities.

Management and Reporting:

  • Provide timely and accurate periodic reports including; revenue reports, sales pipeline, activity reports etc weekly, monthly, quarterly, bi-annually and annually to executive management.
  • Carryout business development training and mentoring to subordinates and other internal staff.
  • Ensure internal collaboration and communication with other functional teams to meet customer needs and operational efficiency within the Company.
  • Perform other assigned duties as delegated by management from time to time.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years working experience in sales, marketing or account management within the mobile Value Added Service (VAS), Telecommunication or ICT industry
  • Completed NYSC
  • Certificate Management Programs (e.g. Business Development) [optional]
  • Post Graduate Degree, MA/MBA/M.Sc [optional]

  • We’re looking for an enthusiastic Product Designer with a passion for user interfaces, user experiences and design to join the Product team at Buffer.
  • You’ll be responsible for designing delightful user experiences, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and creating user interfaces that solve users pain points.
  • The ideal person for this role loves to collaborate with other teams to craft the perfect product, and leverage interaction, UI, and visual design to do the best work.

Responsibilities

  • Create thoughtful and appropriate solutions to design challenges of all sizes by translating research insights into beautiful and engaging user interfaces which satisfy user needs, business requirements and technical constraints.
  • Work in our product team and collaborate with our Product Manager, stakeholders and engineers in an iterative, transparent and feedback driven process.
  • Produce engaging experiences using sketches, storyboards, information architecture blueprints and prototypes to collect feedback and iteratively improve and support the design process.
  • Translate wireframes and experiences into highly-polished visual composites with attention to interaction design whilst following style and brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, engineering and user research to ensure a smooth, data-driven product development process
  • Design and prototype elegant and highly useful flows and experiences across multiple media
  • Create user flows, wireframes, site maps, customer journey maps, and other tools to guide the product development process.
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to conceptualize, document, design and develop new product concepts.
  • Create high-fidelity mockups and work with engineers and product managers to oversee UI design implementation, while also serving as an advocate for design in strategic product decisions.
  • Develop comprehensive annotated design specifications and functional documentation for our engineering team.
  • Work with engineering team to help develop UI pattern toolkits.

Requirements

  • A proven track record of user interface design, across a number of products that have been used by different demographics
  • Experience with prototyping and taking a product from the idea stage through to launch and beyond.
  • Ability to take the product’s mission, user research and analytics data and translate into clear, simple UIs.
  • Strong knowledge of current UX best practices, including user research and accessibility across mobile and web
  • Experience with front-end development, including HTML, CSS and Javascript is a must.
  • Proficient in Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other design tools.
  • You have a portfolio of visually consistent and relevant mobile design work that you’re proud to share with us.
  • You have excellent written communication skills, know how to receive and deliver constructive criticism, and work well in an agile team.
  • Qualification: BA/BSc/HND/NYSC
  • Experience: 4 – 6 years.
