Job Title: Chief Technical Officer (Telecom)

Location: Abuja

Details

  • The CTO shall be responsible for directing all network planning engineering and operations for the company and ensuring that the network evolution, performance, services and products are designed, implemented, provisioned and managed to meet quality and business objectives.

Experience & Education

  • Electrical or Electronics Engineering Degree including a Masters’ Degree
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Telecommunications Network Operations
  • Minimum of 5 years’ strategic management experience

Key Competency Requirements
Knowledge:

  • Sound knowledge in site acquisition for Telecom infrastructure business/real estate.
  • Preferably worked in telecom Industry site acquisition
  • Must be familiar with Purchase / Lease terms and requirements, zoning, permitting, regulatory and jurisdictional forms and requirements
  • Experience with the development and operations of transmission backbone fiber optic cable networks, possibly including submarine
  • Experience deploying backbone network solutions using SDH, IP and MPLS Technologies
  • Experienced manager with ability to recruit and grow middle level technical management
  • Strong technical and network engineering and operations skills
  • Proven experience of managing technology budgets against specific commercial objectives
  • Ability to apply leadership and management skills as well as processes to ensure that business objectives are set, understood and met
  • Ability to lead technology evolution of the company to address market opportunities
  • Ability to present compelling business cases for capital investment
  • Ability to deliver network features and enhancements on time and on budget
  • Ability to effectively communicate, inspire and motivate all levels of staff to achieve business objectives.

 

Job Title: Site Acquisition and TSS Engineer (Telecom)

Location: Abuja

Job Objective(s)

  • The SAQ Officer is responsible for overseeing the entire Site Acquisition project phase of Site Development, including all land management, lease negotiations and coordination, legal review, and zoning, permitting and approval functions.
  • The SAQ Officer will also act as an intermediary between, SBCs, organisation and owners of real estate and other facilities.
  • Ensures that projects are completed on time, SAQ costs are within budget and accepted quality metrics. Participates in project review and status meetings, and communicates project status.
  • Utilizes approved forms and project management methodologies to ensure maximum project effectiveness.

Experience & Qualification

  • BA/B.Sc/HND
  • Graduate in Engineering or Telecommunication or any other related majors.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience.

Key Competency Requirements:

  • Sound knowledge in site acquisition for Telecom infrastructure business/real estate.

Job Title: Technical Executive Assistant to MD (Telecom)

Location: Abuja

Job Objective(s)

  • The TEA shall be responsible for keeping the MD up to date on all Telecoms division related activities that requires all his attention

Experience & Qualification

  • BA/B.Sc/HND
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Telecommunications Network Operations
  • Minimum of 2 years’ strategic management experience

Key Competency Requirements:

  • Track record of driving initiatives to benefit realization, even if it is on a small scale
  • Can work with minimal supervision
  • Technically inclined. A degree in Computer Science or technology policy management and related fields is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently and has good time management skills
  • Eye for details
  • Can work well under pressure and deadlines
  • Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet tools and database systems
  • Proficiency in technical writing and ability to read and understand technical documentation
  • Good interpersonal skills and team management and motivation skills.

 

Job Title: Document Control and Compliance Officer (Telecom)

Location: Abuja

Job Objective(s)

  • The compliance Officer will be responsible for the effective management of corporate and statutory compliance risk, design, implementation and adherence to the compliance arrangements of the company’s operations across the multiple jurisdictions of operations of the group of companies (the “Companies”).

Experience & Qualification

  • Minimum of first Degree in Law with a minimum of Second Class Upper division at the University and Law School
  • Masters Degree in a related field and or an MBA is an added advantage.
  • 3-5 years proven experience as a Legal Officer and/or Compliance Officer or Risk Manager
  • Experience working in a medium sized organization

Key Competency Requirements:
