Job Title: Business Development Analyst

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • Develop a good business relationship with both internal and external customers
  • Understand the competitive landscape — be an expert on our competition and how they are positioned
  • Proactively and independently execute opportunities to improve individual and team output, performance, and efficiency
  • Supporting and participating in business leadership meetings, including organizing the agenda, creating action plans, and ensuring that the subsequent goals and objectives are met.
  • Handle internal business initiatives and business development routines
  • Drive allotted ad-hoc projects and business engagements to completion.

Requirements

  • 2+ years work experience in fin-tech, banking or telecom industries.
  • Process-driven and highly organized
  • Strong business acumen
  • Deep understanding of the banking or tel-co industries and familiarity with relevant policies.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication, writing, negotiation and persuasion skills with an excellent teamwork spirit.
  • Flawless written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to define a business problem, collating the required information, analyzing the results and synthesizing a compelling argument.

Job Title: Fundraising Manager

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job description

  • The Fund-Raising Manager (Business Development Manager) is responsible for securing new revenue within the company’s existing portfolio, as well as seeking out new clients.
  • The role is expected to have a focus on hunting new business. The role ensures an excellent client experience at all time and works in collaboration with the finance team to ensure smooth transition of accounts into the business.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve personal sales targets by developing new business with existing and potential clients.
  • Take a solution and consultative sell approach to ensure clients’ needs are accurately met.
  • Create and implement a structured plan to achieve set targets.
  • Having an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition
  • Informing people about the company’s existing and new products and services
  • Increasing client base in terms of fund raising
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and plans.
  • Undertake cold calling, ensuring that the number of calls meets call targets as set by management.
  • Schedule and attend client meetings, ensuring that number of meetings meets targets as set by management.
  • Participate in sales campaigns to drive revenue and increase product growth.
  • Actively and successfully manage the sales process: lead generation; asking questions; solution pitch; negotiation; close transaction; handover to the account management team.
  • Prepare proposals and detailed costings and prepare contract documents for review by management prior to negotiation with clients.
  • Develop new business relationships.
  • Present effective and professional presentations on company’s products and services to prospective clients.
  • Ensure activities comply with legal and ethical standards as well as company’s policies.
  • Actively monitor market trends through personal contact with clients and industry associated meetings/events and seminars.

Requirements

  • Minimum of B.Sc or HND in Marketing, Economics/Finance related subjects or Social Science degrees.
  • MBA or relevant postgraduate degree would be an added advantage
  • Minimum of 10 years post NYSC in financial services industry.
  • The suitable candidate is expected to have ability to interface and establish business relationship on behalf of the company with banks and other financial institutions.
  • Candidates should have intermediate-high proficiency with the MS Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Candidate must demonstrate strong communication (verbal, written, presentation) skills, as well as the ability to develop and maintain strategic business relationships.

Job Title: Managing Director

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • We are looking to employ an astute Managing Director who will be responsible for the performance of the company, to direct and control the Company’s operations, to give strategic guidance and direction to the Board to ensure that the Company achieves its mission and objectives.
  • He/She will be responsible for driving the strategic objective of the asset management business in line with laid down policies and within regulatory framework,
  • He/she will also be responsible for defining the investment policy statement and investment management standard operating manual.
  • As leader of the team, the appointee will work with clients to develop appropriate financial & investment priorities, the risk management framework, and de-risking of portfolios, as appropriate.
  • Supervise the business development team to ensure that investment portfolios are appropriately structured to meet client’s objective.
  • He/She will be responsible for evaluating employee and portfolio performance.
  • He/She will be actively involved in the development of business strategy, budget, standard operating manuals and policies including investment policy, guidelines, risk management framework, compliance framework and service level agreement.

Requirements

  • A first degree in Economics, Finance or related disciplines in an accredited institution, complemented by a Master’s Degree in Finance. ICAN, ACCA, CFA/CIS certification will also be added advantage.
  • Fifteen (15) years post qualification experience in a leading financial services company, with at least eight 8 years being a top management executive.
  • Previous experience managing a medium to large indigenous or multinational Assets Management Company will be useful.
  • Knowledge of mutual funds and the derivatives markets, supported by strong Issuing house/ capital market experience
