Job Title: Manager, Security Intelligence and Operations

Job Descriptions
- To provide 24/7 Security Supports services to MTNN operations, employees and other relevant stakeholders.
- Participate in the review of Business Processes (headcount, process optimisation, etc.), to drive efficiency gains to ensure at least 5% reduction in Divisional budget year-on-year.
- Assist the SM National Security in drawing up the annual security departmental budget and participate in the Financial Services monthly/quarterly reviews on budget performance.
- Manage and control the security budget and resources effectively and provide accurate information on expenditure to the SM National Security when required.
- Strategic Partnerships with MTNN leadership team to drive awareness on expected behaviours and impact on non-compliance on bottom line results and company image/reputation.
- Promote a sustainable organizational culture that enhances employee productivity and oversee the management of the year on year performance of all dimensions of the Group Culture Audit.
- Network and build solid relationships with internal units and relevant third parties (e.g. strategic investors, technical and finance partners, business consultants etc.) and develop a close working relationship with relevant information sources to provide an integrated service.
- Support SM, National Security in managing relationship between Security Dept and other relevant stakeholders (Service Providers, Security Professional Associations and Security Agencies)
- Maintain a harmonious relationship and contacts with senior cadre of various security agencies (Police, Military, SSS, etc) in associated area of responsibility. Also, exploit the relationship to gain relevant intelligence information that will ensure better protection for MTNN personnel and operations
- Ensure cordial inter-departmental liaison between the Security Unit and other Divisions in MTNN
- Liaise effectively and transparently with Nigerian Security Agencies and other Security Vendors in associated area of responsibility.
- Work closely with the Regional Leads to develop a strong security mindset and the skills and other operational staff responsible for delivering security
- Ensure security intelligence information is collated, analyzed and applied towards ensuring the best protection level for MTNN personnel and operations in area of responsibility.
- Provide effective and active support to the SM, National Security in the development, review and update of security policies and procedures.
- Ensure that standard operating procedures (SOP) are implemented in the Security Unit.
- Ensure that all incidents are investigated, properly documented using approved reporting template and reported to the SM National Security.
- Implement departmental standard quality control measures and department key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Implement crisis management plan as developed by the Senior Manager National Security
- Collate and prepare all relevant security reports for the SM, National Security.
- Ensure that the appropriate level of training is provided for all security staff on disasters, robbery and fire procedures.
- Implement risk management strategy that maximizes personnel safety from violence and the threat of violence in assigned area of responsibility
- In conjunction with Regional Security Managers, ensure safety of MTNN personnel on personal security such as street crime, assault, robbery, kidnap in area of responsibility
- Provide support to ensure safety of employees, business operations, premises, information, network infrastructures
- Carry out specific investigations on wrongdoing by staff and criminal activities targeted at MTNN
- Act as focal point for any investigations involving security; to prepare reports and note follow up action.
- Report any significant security breaches, to the SM, National Security; undertake full investigation; recommend course of action in consultation with SM, National Security
- Ensure all current and future security operations documentation is up to date and saved accordingly
- Adhere to and ensure compliance to all standards, policy and playbooks within region
- Participate in the role of Incident Manager during any incidents and emergencies.
- Ensure that all business recovery/contingency plans and/or procedures held within the security control rooms are always kept up to date
- Undertake the security lead role in the Major Incident Team.
- Continuously seek self-professional development to sharpen skills and capabilities in a versatile and evolving digital landscape.
- Coach and train the team to ensure understanding of the objectives and goals of the department, awareness of set targets/requirements and regularly review their training needs.
- Review performance of individual team members and complete appraisals in accordance with the employee performance appraisal procedures and time schedules.
- Identify training requirements of team members, develop program to address knowledge gaps and to enrich knowledge repository within the department.

Experience:
- 3 –7 years experience in an area of specialisation; with experience in supervising others
- Experience working in a medium organization
- Experience in multinational security operations.
- Experience as Security supervisor in corporate security environment and Record of accomplishment in security management
- Formal training in Security Supervision/ Coordination

Job Title: Manager, Network Security Optimization
Location: Lagos

Job Descriptions
- To implement, monitor and maintain MTN’s information and technology security standards and architecture, to protect MTN’s information assets
- Achieve business growth, value creation & cost-effectiveness by optimizing processes.
- Determine a holistic view of security requirements by evaluating current security operations and requirements; researching Network security standards; studying architecture/platform; identifying integration issues and preparing cost estimates;
- Assists with implementation of counter-measures or mitigating controls.
- Analyze user needs and requirements to plan system architecture supporting cybersecurity operations.
- Propose new technologies or procedures that could be used to advance the ability to detect and mitigate malicious activity.
- Serve as a technical team or task leader.
- Participates in special security projects such as RFP, RFQ, etc. as required.
- Diagnose and resolve common network security related problems
- Periodic review of Security Operations procedures
- Investigate and resolve security incidents
- Perform Problem, Change, and Release & Configuration Management as it pertains to Network security.
- Advising management on emerging vulnerabilities.
- Develop and update security metrics for framework maturity, security posture governance, and reporting
- Perform Network security engineering activities for deployment of new enterprise cyber security technologies
- Analyze logs and reports and interprets the implications. Participates in investigations into problematic activity and assists with plans for appropriate resolution
- Collect and disseminate actionable threat intelligence
- Manage the development of security architectural and development standards for all Network components (Radio, Core, IP, etc…).
- Making sure that network segments, network security elements such as firewalls and anti-DDoS, Load balancers, IPS, SS7,VPN, Two Factor auth, TACASS, WAF, syslog etc. are designed and implemented optimally to secure MTN infrastructure perimeter, data centers and entry points

- Ensure a standardized and aligned approach driven from Group Information Security for security architecture across MTN including OPCO’s.
- Integration of designs to enterprise solutions such as response, monitoring, authentication, compliance etc.
- Provide periodic feedback to management about IP Network Security programs.
- Support the implementation of local and Group wide procedures, processes and awareness, security measures as well as other security solutions to ensure the security of all data, networks and new products and services.
- Coordinate the security Incident response for the organization
- Interface with Support Teams (Infrastructure, NWG & Applications) to resolve security vulnerabilities within Enterprise systems and Applications
