Job Description
- We are looking for a Electrical & Instrumentation Leader to join the task force of a Commissioning project.
Construction/Precommisioning Activities:
- To check the engineering documents prepared by the contractor – in his discipline – and to give timely comments on and/or approval of, in accordance with contract procedures and requirements. To check the incorporation of such comments by the contractor.
- To check the progress of the work performed by the contractor.
- Perform technical reviews as requested by his management.
- To ensure that all risks are well anticipated and reduced as much as possible by the contractor. Control of the contractor during hook-up/precommisioning activities
- To ensure that the quality of the E&I erection work performed by contractor and sub-contractors complies with contract requirements
- To assess any requests by the contractor to deviate from quality control procedures or requirements and make appropriate recommendation to the Head of hook-up.
- To participate in weekly and ad-hoc meetings with the contractor.
- To liaise with the Structure & Piping Supervisor as required.
Reporting:
- To prepare the daily report in his discipline.
- To carry out any other duties as may be assigned by hierarchy.
Profile
- Experienced Supervisor with a high technical level in his specialization, with minimum 10 years working experience in the Oil and Gas industry, with good experience in engineering designs and execution at construction phase, in the context of large international projects.
- Good relationship with Contractor personnel

Job Title: Control Room Technician (M/F)

Job Purpose
- In order to monitor and maintain the operations of power turbines, the Control Room Technician is responsible for tracking and recording the status of the operational system using applicable journals and control system tools.
Duties
- From the control room, monitor all power turbines operations on screens and computers.
- Watch closely to identify any abnormal operating and equipment conditions.
- Troubleshoots and repairs the electrical and mechanical equipment to get everything back on track to minimize safety risks and economic losses.
- Identify and recommend changes to improve overall plant reliability, performance and output
Profile
Must have:
- Extensive experience as a Control Room Technician in energy/Oil and gas industry Reading and understanding mechanical plans and specifications
- Strong aptitude in math; ability to use addition, subtraction, multiplication and division to perform flow, pressure, performance and meter calculations
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Good interpersonal and communication skills

Job Purpose
- This is an opportunity for you to be responsible and to complete maintenance activities on power turbines by planning, organizing, and controlling projects; completing quality inspections; supervising sub-contractors and staff.
Your main duties will be to:
- Accomplishes human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions; adhering to policies and procedures.
- Manages sub-contractors by locating, evaluating, and selecting sub-contractors; monitoring and controlling performance.
- Meets operational standards by contributing maintenance information to strategic plans and reviews;
- Meets maintenance budget by monitoring project expenditures; identifying variances; implementing corrective actions; providing non-project annual operating and capital budget information.
- Accomplishes maintenance project results by defining project purpose and scope; calculating resources required; establishing standards and protocols; allocating resources; scheduling and coordinating staff and sub-contractors; evaluating milestone assumptions and conclusions; resolving design problems; evaluating and implementing change orders.
- Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
- Updates job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging construction practices and standards; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

Profile
- Ideally you will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized and approved program.
- Minimum 10 years work experience in Contract Management/ Site Supervision in maintenance or energy projects.
- Extensive experience working in power turbines project – experience in SOLAR is a plus
- You will have good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as, a good level of computer literacy and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
- You will need excellent communication and presentation skills in both written and verbal English.
