Background
- The Data Assistant will provide direct data support to the State teams under the direction of the M&E unit. The position holder shall support processes for adequate, accurate and timely collection and documentation of data on AGRA activities based on AGRA M&E plan to deliver effective and highly competent data support.
- The position will work with the M&E unit in the day-to-day successful implementation of data requirements for monitoring and evaluation.
Required Skills
- A Master’s Degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance or a related field;
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience;
- Experience working in multicultural, multilingual environments;
- Strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Required Experience:
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience;
Specific Responsibilities
- Support the M&E unit to ensure timely collation of data on implementation progress.
- Processes M&E data by reviewing data for deficiencies; resolving discrepancies using AGRA standard operation procedures for data collection and/or returning incomplete documents for resolution.
- Verify entered data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or supporting re-entery of data; and eliminate duplication of data.
- Support the M&E unit to ensure that data collection protocols are adhered to.
- Support the update of project database monthly.
- Perform any other duties and tasks as may be assigned by the M&E unit.
