We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: CCNA/CCNP Instructor

Location: Lagos

Duties

  • Provide quality and engaging instruction, supporting documentation, proctor and other services as required.
  • Teach Cisco Network Academy CCNA and/or CCNP courses leading to CISCO certification.
  • Teach CCNA/CCNP using the Cisco Net academy or current simulation software
  • Maintain industry certification updates.
  • Provide timely, quality access to students through posted office hours, electronic communication and other appropriate methods.
  • Communicate to management requirements for textbooks, handouts, supplies and equipment.
  • Ensure attendance is fully updated and accurate all times regarding student attendance and grade record information.
  • Communicate to management requirements for textbooks, handouts, supplies, equipment, exam vouchers and other items needed with sufficient notice to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement prior to class.
  • Maintain compliance with accreditation related to instructional and the quality of education.
  • Make sure that you are in the building for the duration of your class.
  • Pre/post class preparation and Instruction in required subjects.

Requirements

  • Cisco hardware.
  • LAN/WAN/ VLAN experience.
  • Must At least have current CCNP Netacad instructor certificate.
  • Must be able to setup CCNP labs in class.
  • Must be able to use GNS3.
  • Knowledge of Networking methodologies.
  • Must have current certifications in subjects taught. (90-day introductory period may be provided).
  • Excellent written and oral communication.
  • Positive attitude with great customer service skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic; dedicated to quality, quantity, and timeliness of results.
  • Excellent attention to details and ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment.
  • Able to handle sensitive information with a high degree of confidentiality.

Job Title: Web Development Instructor

Responsibilities

  • The instructor must develop a course outline.
  • Assist, as requested, in the marketing of courses to prospective clients by providing technical information regarding course content and technical consulting in the area of client needs analysis.
  • Communicate any resource/technical assistance requirements to the appropriate staff.
  • Communicate, as required, with onsite client representatives prior to the class to identify any specific client needs, making suggestions for technical content modifications where required.
  • Handle all attendee-related administrative matters satisfactorily, prior to, during, and immediately after course completion. Provide feedback to the proper department on any classroom events that may require immediate attention
  • Provide technical reviews of class events where content modification may be required prior to subsequent offerings
  • Conduct technical interviews to qualify new instructor candidates, and mentor new instructors during their candidacy process.
  • Set up all required computer equipment for courses.

Qualifications Required

  • Experience using JavaScripts frameworks such as jQuery, AngularJS, extJS etc
  • Experience developing Web applications
  • Mobile Web development experience using CSS/CSS3
  • Understanding of jQuery and jQuery Mobile
  • Detailed knowledge of Behavior Driven Develop (BDD) techniques and the use of Jasmine / Jest testing framework
  • Experience with server-side Web application development such as PHP, ASP.NET, Web API, Java Enterprise Edition, or MEAN stack, specifically related to constructing RESTful Web services

In addition:

  • Must demonstrate thorough technical and subject matter knowledge and experience through subject matter interviews, course audits, co-teach events and classroom instructor training
  • A four-year college degree or higher is desired
  • May have prior teaching experience
  • Must be available and willing to travel

Job Title: Instructor, CC (Graphics Design Digital Media)

Location: Lagos

Details

  • Under general supervision, develop curriculum for and teach a range of courses in Digital Media Art in traditional, online, and hybrid/blended learning environments, including but not limited to: all production phases of digital photography, online distribution, media entrepreneurship, and media ethics; prepare and revise course objectives and student learning outcomes; identify student learning needs and develop appropriate teaching strategies, instructional material, and methods; plan, organize and deliver instructional and non-instructional assignments; oversee photo studio and computer lab operations; and perform related duties as assigned.
  • Related work activities include, but are not limited to, advising and counseling students; assisting in campus-related student activities; developing and maintaining a professional self-improvement plan; participating in faculty/administrative committees, community service, and in-service training as appropriate; and collecting data and preparing reports.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Specialization in new media art or a related area of study (i.e. design, animation, digital art, digital media, multimedia, computer graphics, film, etc), and 1-3 year related industry experience.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Successful post-secondary teaching experience.
  • Recognized industry/professional experience with portfolio in digital photography including event, studio, and creative genres.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach the proper selection, use, and maintenance of camera bodies, lenses, and other industry standard support equipment.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach artificial and natural lighting.
  • Demonstrated experience in mentoring students to conceived, shoot, edit, and distribute digital images across all media.
  • Proficiency in industry standard multi-media software such as Adobe Creative Suite including bitmap and vector based applications.
  • Ability to teach media ethics.
  • Ability to Teach entrepreneurship.
  • Ability to work in a collegial manner with peers, coordinators, division chairs, and administrators.
  • Understanding of and experience working with diverse student population, young and adult students, students with a wide range of abilities.
