Job Title: Administrative Officer

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

  • Attending meetings, taking minutes and keeping notes
  • Using a variety of software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel, Access, etc., to produce correspondence and documents and maintain presentations, records, spreadsheets and databases
  • Organising and storing paperwork, documents and computer-based information
  • Manipulating statistical data
  • Managing and maintaining budgets
  • Devising and maintaining office systems
  • Manage general activities related to making products and providing services
  • Consult with other executives, staff, and board members about general operations
  • Supervise clerical and administrative personnel
  • Analyze financial statements, sales reports, and other performance indicators
  • Recommend changes to policies or procedures in order to improve operations
  • Monitor the facility to ensure that it remains safe, secure, and well maintained
  • Liaising with staff in other departments and with external contacts

Requirements

Job Title: Information Technology Support Officer

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

  • Repairing equipment and replacing parts
  • Responding to breakdowns
  • Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, scanners and more
  • Investigating, diagnosing and solving computer software and hardware faults
  • Maintaining records of software licences and ensuring adherence with software licensing laws
  • Managing stocks of equipment, consumables and other supplies.
  • Obtaining replacement or specialist components, fixtures or fittings
  • Testing and modifying systems to ensure that they operate reliably
  • Managing secure network access for remote users
  • Designing maintenance procedures and putting them into operation.
  • Managing IT budgets
  • Providing user training, support, advice and feedback
  • Implementing and managing security or integrity and backup procedures

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining accurate and complete financial records
  • Research, filing, data entry, and recording
  • Preparing periodic financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, invoices, and other documents
  • Develop and ensure adherence to internal controls and promote good financial management practice
  • Design, revise, and implement accounting systems and procedures in the development of new financial policies & procedures
  • Perform bank reconciliations at intervals and as at when needed.
  • Responsible for remittance of monthly pension deductions and PAYE and filing of monthly returns with tax authorities.
  • Manages an accurate financial administration (creditors, debtors, salary administration, ledgers) and monitors financial transactions accurately.
  • Ensures all invoices are coded and booked accurately.
  • Ensures the invoices are controlled and approved by the line management, before processing in the bookkeeping system.

Requirements

  • B.Sc in Accounting or similar field
  • At least five years accounting experience, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
  • Professional certification in ACCA or ICAN or other relevant bodies.
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and relevant accounting software
  • Self-driven individual with ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written;
  • Deep knowledge of best practices in financial management

Job Title: Finance Controller

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

  • Interpreting and communicating financial data to non-financial managers
  • Liaising with other function managers to put the finances and accounts in context
  • Preparing and interpreting periodic financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, budgets, cash flows, variance analysis and commentaries
  • Providing a support service by working with all departments and the management team to help make financial decisions
  • Negotiating on major projects, loans and grants
  • Offering professional judgement on financial matters and advising on ways of improving business performance
  • Monitoring and evaluating financial information systems and recommending improvements where needed
  • Implementing corporate governance procedures, risk management and internal controls.
  • Executing key strategic decisions and formulating business strategies
  • Analysing financial performance and so contributing to medium and long-term business planning/forecasts
  • Controlling income, cash flow and expenditure
  • Developing and managing financial systems/models
  • Producing long-term business plans
