A private Company is looking to recruit suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Property Management Officer (Intern)

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • Assist in maintaining assigned apartments, responding to telephone inquiries, qualifying prospects, showing apartments, preparing all move-in paperwork, and accurately inputting traffic numbers daily.
  • Monitor assigned properties and/or land in the Surulere area and Alimosho area of Lagos State and Ile Ife in Osun State.
  • Make the necessary inquiries on needed information/support to execute clients’ interests.
  • Obtain knowledge in the management of renewals, tracking lease expiration, recording notices to vacate and interviewing residents for reason, preparing lease expiration letters and renewal leases.
  • Participate in collecting, processing, and reporting receipt of security deposits, rents, and other fees.
  • Obtain market knowledge with property trends.
  • Supervise renovation works in the assigned properties.
  • Liaise with lawyers, engineers and property agents working on properties to ensure agreed tasks and/or actions have been undertaken
  • Participate in follow-up on property cases on the assigned properties
  • Undertake various operational and project management support tasks as required by the client
  • Assist in advertising and making recommendations on market strategies on Property.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Years Of Experience: 1-2 years in the job-related sector
  • OND / B.Sc in Estate / Property Management (essential)

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of property management
  • Knowledge of project management
  • Must be willing to travel at short notice to Ile-Ife, Osun
  • Report and document assigned task report (written, pictures, videos)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suites
  • Knowledge and/or experience of property management and property agency practice
  • He/she is expected to work within Ikeja, Egbeda and Surulere axis and to report to our Ikeja office.
