Job Description
Our BDM will be accountable for:
- Promoting the products and services of the company above others
- Prospecting new markets, increasing client base & improving sales
- Developing and maintaining business relationships with corporate and individual clients
- Assisting LM to prepare monthly/annual sales and marketing plans
- Making sales according to set monthly and annual targets
- Making and presenting using MS PowerPoint, sales performance reports weekly before management.
- New market development
- Planning and executing marketing strategies for identified target markets
- Identifying new industry trends
- Meeting sales & marketing financial targets (CoS)
- Analyzing BD challenges and proffer workable solutions
- Properly managing office operations especially in the absence of LM
- Preparing & managing weekly social media activities including sponsored adverts, daily posts, leads generation, etc.
Candidate Requirements
- Must be resident in Lagos. No relocation expenses will be incurred.
- Must be willing to work extra sometimes and be able to think outside the box.
- Must be social media savvy and be always available on WhatsApp & other SM apps.
- Must be able to lead a team and ready to break into industries
- Having existing industry client relationships to leverage on will be a great advantage.
- Must be able to clearly and articulately sell yourself to prospects
- Must be greatly assertive
- Impeccable proficiency in written and verbal English communications skills including making verbal presentations, preparing weekly performance reports, sales proposals etc.
- Good time management skills
- Ability to demonstrate acute sales closing skills; ability to oversee, track, and complete assigned tasks within allotted time frames.
- Proficiency in MS Office Tools (Word, Excel, and especially PowerPoint)
- Ability to drive a motor vehicle will be an added advantage.
- Must be attractive and have a good sense of dressing
- Must have acceptable good personal hygiene
- Must be willing to do the hard work but friendly.
Salary
- Attractive base monthly pay + Sales commission based on performance.
