Open RAN Solution Architect in a Telecommunications Company

Ascentech Services Limited – Our client, a leading player in the Telecommunications industry, is currently looking to fill the vacant position below:

Job Title: Open RAN Solution Architect

Location: Lagos

Requirements

• HND / BSc / MSc in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering or related field.
• Domain, E2E, Network Optimization/Network Design, performance knowledge.
• Network virtualization including public and private cloud design and architecture
• Design related to management (orchestration, assurance, and optimisation) of 4G/5G networks (CPE, RAN, Core)
• Active part in customer solution design;
• Education: master degree in telecommunication engineering or equivalent
• Minimum years of experience: 10+ years of experience
• Domain experience: 3GPP RAN & Open RAN including 5G NR radio, IP at application level, benchmarking, 3GPP call flow analysis, performance improvement
• Requirement analysis, System design and Architecture design;
• Functional allocation CU/DU (Centralized Unit/Distributed Unit) and Radio Unit;
• O&M functional allocation;
• Support RAN integrations, verification and troubleshooting.
