Job Title: Security Operations Manager

Location: Abuja

Job Brief

  • We are looking for a competent Security Operations manager to organize and oversee all security operations of our company. Security personnel will be under your command while you develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain security standards.
  • As a security manager, you will have to demonstrate excellent surveillance and emergency response skills. You will need a strong commitment to security rules and knowledge of all hazards and threats to safety. Since you will have a number of people under your responsibility, you must also exhibit leadership skills.
  • The goal is to create and preserve an environment where employees, visitors and property are safe and well-protected.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement security policies, protocols and procedures
  • Control budgets for security operations and monitor expenses
  • Recruit, train and supervise security officers and guards
  • Attend meetings with other managers to determine operational needs
  • Plan and coordinate security operations for specific events
  • Coordinate staff when responding to emergencies and alarms
  • Review reports on incidents and breaches
  • Investigate and resolve issues
  • Create reports for management on security status
  • Analyze data to form proposals for improvements (e.g. implementation of new technology)
  • Contribute to the growth of the business by gaining new clients for the security department.

Requirements

  • High school diploma; Further education in security administration or similar field will be an asset
  • Proven experience as security operations manager.
  • Experience using relevant technology and equipment (e.g. CCTV)
  • Experience in reporting and emergency response planning
  • Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures
  • Solid understanding of budgeting and statistical data analysis
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
  • Committed and reliable

Job Title: Business Development Executive

Location: Abuja

Job Description

  • A business development executive is responsible for researching and pursuing new business leads for the growth of the business.
  • The role involves active coordination across teams and demands exceptional inter-personal skills.
  • The executive is expected to work on new business proposals and presentations which are a persuasive representation of our organisations products/services.

Job Roles and Responsibilities

  • The role of a Business Development Executive is to assist the organisation’s sales and growth efforts by contributing to new customer acquisition. He/she should be able to provide ideas to attract new clients and keep the senior management updated about marketplace and competitor activity.

The primary role and responsibilities of a Business Development Executive include:

  • Build contacts with potential clients to create new business opportunities
  • Keep prospective client database updated
  • Make cold calls for new business leads
  • Support in writing new business proposals
  • Maintain knowledge of all product and service offerings of the company
  • Arrange meetings for senior management with prospective clients
  • Follow company guidelines and procedures for acquisition of customers, submission of tenders etc.
  • Oversee the sales process to attract new clients.
  • Work with senior team members to identify and manage risks.
  • Maintain fruitful relationships with clients and address their needs effectively.
  • Research and identify new market opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver pitches to potential investors.
  • Foster a collaborative environment within the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required.
  • Minimum of 6 years experience on the same role.
  • Must have experience, working in a highly commercial organization.
  • Must have knowledge of security equipment.
  • Ability to develop good relationships with current and potential clients.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Experience in project management and/or sales.
  • Knowledge of productivity tools and software.
  • High attention to detail and a focus on fact-based decision making.
