Job Roles and Responsibilities
The roles of the Business/Product development manager are:
- Spot new opportunities and establish rapid growth within the new market.
- BusinessStrategy development and implementation(including web, social media, print and face to face, marketing,and branding)to further the company’s strategic objectives.
- Work autonomously when required to ensure maximization of results.
- Identify sales leads on a high level and pitch goods or services to new clients.
- Achieve technical/non-technical objectives and targets.
- Identify future needs, trends, and resources for effective marketing of the company.
- Provide Inputs to Product Developers.
- Carry out sales forecasts and analysis.
- Develop/Implement commercial plans(including sales campaigns)to ensure revenue growth.
- Maintain an excellent working relationship with new and existing contacts as well as team members and management.
- Create Proposals and set up meetings.
- Plan and prepare presentations.
- Communicate new product developments and make cold calls to prospective clients.
- Overseeing the development of marketing literature.
- Writing reports.
- Providing management with feedbacks.
- You will be required to spend a large amount of time visiting clients and attending networking events.
