A leading Financial Technology website in Nigeria is seeking to employ an individual with required skill to fill the vacant position below:

Job Title: Ethical Hacker

Location: Lagos

Job Descriptions

  • Plan and coordinate independent Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Test (VAPT)
  • Maintains the security of IT systems to prevent data breaches, keeping information safe from hackers, viruses, and other potential problems.
  • Monitors compliance with security policies, standards, guidelines and procedures
  • Identify potential threats and vulnerabilities for business processes, associated data and supporting capabilities to assist in the evaluation of enterprise risk

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security or related field.
  • Cyber Security certifications such as: CISSP, CISA, CISM, CEH, OSCP, ECSA, GCIA, GWAPT, CompTIA Security and Window Azure Security are an added advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years IT experience in the Banking / Fintech sector, with experience in Information Security and a strong knowledge of Windows / Linux, database and virtualized / physical server environments
  • Hands on experience in security systems, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, DDOS solutions, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, SIEM, vulnerability-scanning, web gateway, proxy appliances, NAC, and antivirus tools etc.
  • Experience in building and maintaining security systems
  • Proven work experience as a system security engineer or information security engineer
  • Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols.
  • Detailed technical knowledge of database and operating system security.
  • Experience in threat modeling and risk assessment, Endpoint security and penetration testing, Incident Handling and Management, application security and secure API.
