We are recruiting to fill the positions below:
Job Title: Supply Officer
Location: Ebonyi
Contract Period: Indefinite
Main Purpose
- Organizing and supervising the daily supply chain activities and the teams associated, in the coordination or project level, according to MSF protocols and standards in order to ensure the optimal running of the mission
Accountabilities
- Supervising and organizing the daily activities of the Supply Chain team, including Supply Supervisors, and ensuring they perform the tasks linked to their role

- Monitoring and ensuring a smooth running supply administration and the respect of the implemented supply procedures, proposing adjustments where needed.
- At the direction of the Supply Manager, support the training/induction, briefing/debriefing of staff in order to ensure proper onboarding and knowledge acquisition.
- Being responsible for the supply database and the correct filing and archiving of the supply documentation in order to guarantee the availability and the coherence of supply data.
Minimum Required Skills and Qualifications
Education:
- Essential: degree and specialization in Logistics/Supply Chain
- Desirable: Secondary education and warehouse management related studies
Experience:
- Essential in supply chain management (minimum 2 years) and in organization of supply administration and procedures
- Desirable proven understanding of MSF Supply standard & procedures and MSF Field Logistics (general, basic).
- Languages: Fluent English and Igbo are essential.
Job Title: Logistics Supervisor
Location: Abakaliki, Ebonyi
Contract Period: Indefinite
Main Purpose
- Supervising the daily logistics activities and providing maintenance to the MSF equipment, facilities and infrastructures, according to MSF standards and protocols in order to maintain the facilities in perfect conditions and collaborate in the development of the mission.
Accountabilities
- Monitoring maintenance activities of infrastructures, management of non-medical stocks and equipment according to MSF standards.
- Ensuring the check and follow-up of facilities under the line manager’s supervision through daily visits to the facilities and reporting any anomalies or problems, evaluation of the rehabilitation needs and following up minor building rehabilitation work according to supervisor’s instructions; checking that premises observe security norms and monitoring the consumption of mechanical and electrical vehicles/machines/devices.
- Coordinating and leading the logistics team under his/her responsibility which includes daily supervision, monitoring of the quality of work and the definition of each person’s task, drawing up their working schedules; organizing and leading team meetings; participating in the recruitment of team personnel and attending logistics meetings and accounting for his activities.
- Managing and following up orders which includes collecting logistics orders coming from different departments or health facilities; drawing up and following up orders according to the procedures in force; providing technical support to the storekeeper,
Minimum Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education Essential secondary education and formal technical training
- Experience At least one year in MSF or 2 years in a similar post out of MSF
- Languages Fluent English and Igbo are essential.
