Job Title: Security Coordinator
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- We are looking for a competent Security Cordinators to organize and oversee all security operations of our company within regions assigned to them. Security officers/ supervisors will be under your watch while the candidate is to carry out the Security Operations Manager directives.
Responsibilities
- Assists in developing the Security Officers by ensuring that their competencies are fully developed to meet future challenges in the industry
- Handles Security Officers complaints
- Attend to welfare issues.
- Undertakes induction & training for Guards
- Plan and coordinate security operations for specific events
- Investigate and resolve issues.
- Patrols and monitor the activities of guards and beats under his command
- Ensures uniform performance of duties in accordance with approved procedures and promotes exemplary appearance and conduct.
- Maintains strict discipline and adherence to laid down regulations by the Security Officers under his command
- Ensures that assigned area of responsibility is stabilized and devoid of any criminal activities
- Recruit, train and supervise security officers and Supervisors
- Prepares daily incident reports for the Security Operations Manager, giving recommendations on how to improve our efficiency and effectiveness
Requirements
- First degree (B.Sc/HND)
- Minimum of 1-2 years cognate experience
- Should be able to drive and must have valid driving license.
To drive the expectations of the position, the job holder will be expected to have the following skills:
- Working knowledge of MS Office
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge using relevant technology and equipment (e.g. CCTV, )
- Able to right a good detailed report
Job Title: Security Operations Manager
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- We are a fast-growing Security Company, looking for a competent Security Operations Manager to organize and oversee all security operations of our company
- Security Personnel/Supervisors and Coordinators will be under your watch while the candidate develops and implement policies and procedures to ensure security standards nationwide are maintained.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement security policies, protocols and procedures
- Control budgets for security operations and monitor expenses
- Recruit, train and supervise security officers and guards
- Attend meetings with other managers to determine operational needs
- Plan and coordinate security operations for specific events
- Coordinate staff when responding to emergencies and alarms
- Review reports on incidents and breaches and share with clients
- Investigate and resolve issues
- Create reports for management on security status
- Analyze data to form proposals for improvements (e.g. implementation of new technology)
Requirements
- HND or B.Sc is mandatory;
- Professional Certification (ASIS Member, CPP) is an added advantage.
- Ex-service (armed forces/policemen) is an added advantage.
To drive the expectations of the position, the job holder will be expected to have the following skills:
- Proven experience as security manager or similar position
- Experience using relevant technology and equipment (e.g. CCTV, )
- Experience in reporting and emergency response planning
- Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures
- Solid understanding of budgeting and statistical data analysis
- Working knowledge of MS Office
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
- Should be able to drive and must have valid driving license.
