Job Title: Fleet Manager
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing logistics and overseeing the daily operations of no less than 25 nos. 45 MT (22 wheels) Trucks and about 50 Drivers.
- The Post holder will be maintaining vehicles for deliveries, handling complaints, violations and other issues from drivers whilst maximizing efficiency and profitability by managing the vehicles and the drivers.
- The post holder role will also be responsible for monitoring all aspects of costs and profits, from vehicle wear and tear to fuel costs and fleet logistics.
Requirements
- To fit in this role, you must have at least an OND in any discipline, and you must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in logistics management.
- You should also have demonstrable experience managing a minimum of 25 trucks (45ton trucks), must possess analytical and critical thinking skills, with good administration and communication skills, be detail-oriented and deadline-driven.
