Job Title: Data Solutions Assistant

Job Requirements

• Preferably female, not more than 25 years of age.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related technical field will be an added advantage
• Organized, highly detail-oriented and proactive self-starter who can operate both individually and as part of a team.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills, ability to perform customer-facing/presentation functions
• 2+ years’ experience with data transformation/migration services, ETL processes and tools (Pentaho Kettle, CloverETL, Talend OpenStudio, JasperSoft ETL) and database programming
• Good knowledge of BI (Business intelligence) and data reporting solutions
• Good knowledge of SQL, relational database architecture and design (including MySQL/MariaDB, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL and Oracle DBMS).
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Access, Excel, Powerpoint)
• Flexible attitude, ability to perform under pressure.
• A thorough understanding of computer architecture and experience working with Linux/Unix OS and Windows OS/PowerShell.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Analyze user/customer requirements and create clear technical specifications for implementation.
• Design, analyze, code and test innovative, scalable, fault-tolerant data solutions, applications and related technology solutions for our clients and customer base.
• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
• Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
• Work closely with project managers, UX designers, software developers, systems analysts, graphic artists, sales and marketing professionals.
• Participate in analysis, cleansing and ETL (extract-transform-load) of existing data to meet the changing needs of key demographics.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices for delivery of data solutions for clients and customers.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
