Job Title: Chief Security Officer
Location: Nasarawa
Duties
- The Chief Security Officer is responsible to the Rector for the general administration/operational duties and supervision of the Security Division as well as ensuring the protection of lives and properties, crime prevention and enforcement of Polytechnic regulations.
Qualifications and Experience
- The candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least ten (10) years cognate experience in the Police or Armed Forces and security work and must not be below the rank of Chief Superintendent of Police or its equivalent.
- An intelligence or crime management background would be an advantage.
- He/she should be capable of maintaining and developing the necessary security and policing arrangement, covering both day and night shifts.

Job Title: Director of Medical Services
Location: Nasarawa
Duties
- The Director of Medical Services is responsible to the Rector for the smooth running of the Medical Centre.
- He/she is responsible for coordinating the work and activities of subordinate staff and taking overall charge of the Medical Centre.
Qualifications and Experience
- The candidate must possess MBBS and be registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria with Eighteen (18) years post qualification cognate experience.
- He/she must be computer literate and proficient in relevant computer applications.
- He/she must not be more than Fifty-nine (59) years of age as at the time of assumption of duty.
Terms and Conditions of Appointment
- The salary and condition of service for the position are as obtainable in all Federal Polytechnics in the country.

Job Title: Director of Physical Planning
Location: Nasarawa
Duties
- The Director of Physical Planning is responsible to the Rector for the physical development of the Polytechnic.
- He/she is responsible for the coordination and supervision of physical development projects, ensuring quality and standard of structures in the Polytechnic through proper advice and liaison with relevant bodies involved in the construction of all the structures of the Polytechnic.
- The Director must be a person of high integrity and transparency in public and private life.
- He/she must be innovative and willing to translate new ideas into new projects, in accordance with the Polytechnic Master Plan.
Qualifications and Experience
- The candidate for the post must possess a good honours Degree, with at least second class lower division, from a recognized institution of higher learning in any of these disciplines: Architecture, Building, Estate Management, Urban and Regional Planning or Quantity Surveying with at least Eighteen (18) years post qualification cognate experience or a Master’s degree with at least Fifteen (15) years congnate experience.
- He/she must be computer literate and proficient in relevant computer applications.
- He/she must be a fully registered member of relevant professional body/bodies, and not be more than Fifty-nine (59) years of age as at the time of assumption of duty.

Job Title: Director of Works and Maintenance
Location: Nasarawa
Duties
- The Director of Works and Maintenance is responsible to the Rector for overall planning and control of activities as well as formulating strategies for the Works and Maintenance Department.
Qualifications and Experience
- The candidate must be a fully registered Engineer, with at least Eighteen (18) years relevant experience or a registered engineer with a Master’s degree in relevant field with Fifteen (15) years post-qualification cognate experience.
- He/she must not be more than 59 years of age as at the time of assumption of duty.

Job Title: Registrar
Location: Nasarawa
Duties
- The Registrar, who is a Principal Officer of the Polytechnic, is responsible to the Rector for the day-to-day administration of the Polytechnic.
- He/she is the Secretary to the Governing Council, the Academic Board and other Statutory Committees.
- He/she is the custodian of records and issuance of Certificates, interpreting and applying rules and regulations of the Polytechnic.
- He/she shall also perform such other duties as the Council and the Rector may, from time to time, direct.
Qualification and Experience
- The candidate must hold a good honours degree (minimum of second class lower division) from a recognized institution of higher learning, plus at least Eighteen (18) years post-qualification cognate experience in tertiary Institution or a Master’s degree from a recognized institution of higher learning plus at least Fifteen (15) years cognate experience in tertiary Institution or Doctorate degree plus at least Twelve (12) years cognate experience in tertiary institution.
- He/she must have served as a Deputy Registrar for not less than Five (5) years in an Institution of higher learning.
- He/she must be a Member of relevant professional body/bodies e.g. NIM, CIPMN, etc.
- The candidate must not be more than 59 years of age as at the time of assumption of duty.
- He/she must be a person of proven integrity, intellectually and professionally sound and knowledgeable in the Rules and Regulations of the Polytechnic system.
- He/she must also be vast in Public Service Rules, Financial Regulations and must be computer literate.
Terms and Conditions of Appointment
- The appointment shall be for a single term of five (5) years. The salary and conditions of service are as obtainable in all Federal Polytechnics in the country.
- The appointee shall also enjoy other benefits of office as may be approved from time to time by the Federal Government.
