Diamond Development Initiatives (DDI) is a not-for-profit development consulting organization. DDI provides support to social and economic development projects including micro and small enterprise (MSE) development, agriculture, trade and investment initiatives, renewable energy and participatory development best practices.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Project Assistant
Locations: Borno, Adamawa and Yobe
Requirements
- A Degree in Crop Production, Agronomy or Agricultural Extension or any related field
- At least 1-2 years of direct involvement in community development work
- Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing and have a high proficiency in the use of computer, particularly in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word etc.
- Ability to communicate in Hausa or Kanuri language is an added advantage.
Job Title: Finance & Admin Officer
Location: Adamawa
Requirements
- A Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or a related field. Relevant professional qualification will be an added advantage e.g. ICAN, ACCA
- At least 5 years of experience with a reputable NGO or donor agency.
- Knowledge of grant and donor fund requirement
- Knowledge in the use of quick books and other accounting packages
- Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing and have a high proficiency in the use of computer, particularly in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word etc.
Job Title: Monitoring & Evaluation Officer
Location: Adamawa
Requirements
- Degree in Agric. Economics, Extension, Statistics or related fields
- At least 3 years of direct involvement in providing monitoring and evaluation support for related programs
- Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing and have a high proficiency in the use of computer, particularly in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word etc.
- Ability to speak Hausa or Kanuri will be an added advantage.
Job Title: Project Coordinator
Location: Adamawa
Requirements
- A Master’s Degree in Crop production, Agronomy, Extension or any related field
- At least 5 years of direct involvement in community development work
- Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing and have a high proficiency in the use of computer, particularly in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Power point presentation etc.
- Evidence of practically managing similar project or have held such position in the past.
- Familiarity with the culture and terrain and farming methods of the North East isa key requirement.
