Job Title: Accountant

Job Overview
- The Accountant has primary responsibility for assisting the Vice President of Finance on day-to-day Accounting and Finance activities. The accountant will support accounts payables and receivables, reconciliation, budgeting, financial reporting and internal auditing.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain a record of accounts payables and receivables in accounting software
- Support the field team to collect accounts receivables
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information.
- Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analysing account information
- Summarise current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports
- Ensure that all tax liabilities due are paid on time
- Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
- Summarise current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports
- Recommend financial actions to management by analysing accounting options
- Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an Accounting and/or Finance related role
- Solar industry experience is highly advantageous
- Minimum undergraduate degree or equivalent
- Able to demonstrate fundamental understanding of Accounting principles
- Strong knowledge of Accounting and Finance software
- Able to keep up to date with the latest trends in Accounting and Finance

Job Title: Vice President of Finance
Location: Abuja
Start Date: Q1 2020
Job Overview
- The Vice President of Finance has primary responsibility for the planning, implementation, managing and running of all finance activities, including business planning, budgeting, forecasting and negotiations.
- The VP of Finance will also be responsible for obtaining and maintaining investor relations and partnership compliance.
- The role is the bridge between the C.E.O and day-to-day Accounting and Finance team.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Constantly interface with the C.E.O to clearly translate business strategy into Accounting and Finance strategy
- Assist the CEO in defining and monitoring quarterly and annual Objectives and Key Results (OKRs)
- Provide leadership, direction and management to the finance and accounting team
- Prepare clear and detailed Financial Statements and summary for executive decision making
- Manage the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and oversee the preparation of all financial reporting
- Establish and develop relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders
- Advise on long-term business and financial planning
- Lead the organisation’s fund raising efforts
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of solid senior management experience in an Accounting and/or Finance related role
- Experience in Solar is highly advantageous
- Minimum undergraduate degree or equivalent
- Able to demonstrate deep and practical understanding of Accounting and Finance principles
- Strong knowledge of Accounting and Finance software
- Able to keep up to date with the latest trends in Accounting and Finance

Job Title: Vice President of Technical
Location: Abuja, Nigeria

Job Overview
- The Vice President of Technical is responsible for all activities related to the solar technology roadmap and technical services.
- The VP of Technical will provide industry level insight on trends and collaborate with other top executives to plan, utilize, and apply the company’s competitive advantages to further revenue growth.
- The VP of Technology will provide leadership to the day-to-day technical services team.
- In addition, this position will be an advocate for the company’s technical efforts, both internally and externally, including strategic partners, customers and investors.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Constantly interface with the C.E.O to clearly translate business strategy into technical strategy
- Provide technology and technical vision and strategy focused on new technologies, industry trends, the solar value chain and new product opportunities Prepare a summary for executive decision making
- Assist the CEO in defining and monitoring quarterly and annual Objectives and Key Results (OKRs)
- Provide leadership, direction and management to technical services team
- Provide technical support to other business functions of the company
- Lead the company’s effort in building a world class technical team
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of solid senior management experience in the solar industry
- Minimum of undergraduate Degree or equivalent in a relevant field of study
- Strong and practical knowledge of solar components
- Solid analytic skills, coupled with a strong understanding of businesses concepts
- Strong technical writing
- Superior Communications style (verbal, written, negotiating, listening)
