Job Descriptions
- Responsible for general security of the facility and the company environs and also preparing daily incident reports, requisitions and other inter office memos and ensures that all allegations of the crime and other incidents are investigated and properly recorded.
Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate the activities of all security personnel.
- Ensure that all security personnel provide services that are above and beyond for customer satisfaction and retention.
- Ensure the safety and security of guest, staff, visitors and contractors at all times.
- They must identify organizational protection goals and objectives, ensuring they’re consistent with their organizations’ strategic plans
- Work with other executives to decide on the priority of security needs and then spend according to an organization’s financial constraints and directives
- Oversee a network of security operatives and work with local, state and federal law enforcement and other security agencies.
Qualifications and Experience
- B.Sc in Criminology & Security Studies / Sociology.
- Must have at least 7 years of experience working in a similar field. OR a retired personnel of the Armed Forces.
- The retired personnel must produce evidence of enlistment and certificate of discharged from the Force.
- Evidence that he has worked in similar field after dis-engagement from the Force, will be an added advantage.

General Objective
- The Security Liaison Officers will effectively contribute to all appropriate risk management strategies on the ground, related to the safety and security, and the protection of staff and assets in their designated locations
- Specifically, he / she will be responsible for leading in security information collection, contributing to implementation and execution of all field security operations in support of staff and activities.
- In addition, the Security Liaison Officer will establish links and synergies with Field Coordinator, facilitating the implementation of programs and assisting in all matters related to security.
Responsibilities and Tasks
Security Information Gathering:
- Collect, analyze and share all security and safety information on the ground relevant to Westminster Security activities in the designated places daily.
- Under the direction of the field coordinator, contribute to the security / risk assessment
- Assist the Field Coordinator in the design of the security strategies
- Contribute to briefing and training of staff on security procedures as related to the security assessment and analysis
- Participate in security-related meetings at his level and provide information to the field coordinator of required attendance to meetings with state and/or local leaders, ensure translation when needed and contribute to reporting.
- Ensure security information is disseminated at the right time, right place and through the right channels to the right persons.
- Establish viable relationships with key leadership and community-based structures
- Developing network of information providers to enable you obtain security information.
- Ensure the efficiency of security strategies.
Mandatory Requirements
- Language skills: Good command of English, Urhobo and Itsekiri will be an added advantage
- Education: University Degree or National Diploma
- Work experience: At least 2 years’ experience in the relevant position
Knowledge and Skills:
- Good knowledge of Security.
- Good knowledge of Information gathering
- Good ability for team work
- Ability to manage a fair workload including emergencies.
- Very good networking and diplomatic skills
- Must be computer literate with good internet skill
