POLAC Regular Course 8 Selection Examination To Hold In September 17, 2020

The selection examination for Regular Course 8 intake of the Nigeria Police Academy Wudil, Kano (POLAC) will hold on Thursday, September 17, 2020.

According to the POLAC Commandant, AIG Zanna M. Ibrahim, mni, the examination would be a Computer Based Test (CBT) on the combination of the following subjects:

(a) Faculty of Humanities
i- English Department: General Paper, Literature in English, Government/History & CRK/IRK,
ii- Department of History & International Studies: General Paper, Economics, Government/History & CRK/IRK.
iii- Department of Nigerian Language & Linguistics: General Paper, English, Government/History & CRK/IRK.

(b) Faculty of Social And Management Sciences
i- Department of Accounting: General Paper, Principles of Accounting, Economics, Commerce/Government/History.
ii- Department of Economics: General Paper, Gov’t/History, Principles of Accounting/Commerce.
iii- Department of Political Science: General Paper, Economics, Gov’t/History, Principles of Accounting/Commerce.
iv- Psychology Department: General Paper, Biology, Economics, Government/History.
v- Department of Sociology: General paper, Economics, Gov’t/History, Principles of Accounting/Commerce.

(c) Faculty of Sciences
i- Department of Biological Science: General Paper, Biology, Chemistry & Physics.
ii- Biochemistry Department: General Paper, Biology, Chemistry & Physics.
iii- Chemistry Department: General Paper, Biology, Chemistry & Physics.

v. Kano: Kano University of Science & Technology (KUST), Along Gaya Road, Wudil-Kano,

vii- Borno: University of Maiduguri eTc Center, Bama Road, Maiduguri.
viii- Sokoto: Usman Danfodio University Sokoto (UDUS).

All candidates are expected to follow the NCDC’s Precautionary Measures on COVID19 during the examination and be wary of scammers who are desperate to extort money in the guise of securing admission for them.

The Commandant warns the prospective candidates to shun any kind of examination malpractice as offenders would be prosecuted.
