Job Title: Tax Accountant
Location: Abuja (FCT)
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and research difficult tax issues to identify solutions.
- Manage and maintain the company’s tax database.
- Determine tax savings and recommend strategies to improve profits.
- Ensure you comply with regulations by forwarding required information to federal, state, and local authorities.
- Offer support and guidance during audits.
- Evaluate tax regulations and suggest policies that diminish tax burden.
- Keep track of industry trends and changes related to taxes.
- Prepare accurate quarterly and annual tax reports.
- Other Accounting tasks that may be assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business with an emphasis in Accounting, or a related field preferred
- Must possess 2-3 years of professional experience in a Tax Management role
- Able to analyze financial records and transfer information
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Accurate and precise attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills; able to prioritize
- Strong aptitude for numbers, spreadsheets, and financial reports

Job Title: Fixed Assets Accountant
Location: Abuja (FCT)
Key Responsibilities
- Create and monitor a system of controls, procedures, for fixed assets.
- Recommend to management any updates to accounting policies related to fixed assets.
- Assign tag numbers to fixed assets.
- Record fixed asset acquisitions and dispositions in the SAP accounting system.
- Track the compilation of project costs into fixed asset accounts, and close out those accounts once the related projects have been completed.
- Reconcile the balance in the fixed asset subsidiary ledger to the summary-level account in the general ledger.
- Calculate depreciation for all fixed assets.
- Review and update the detailed schedule of fixed assets and accumulated depreciation.
- Calculate asset retirement obligations for those fixed assets to which AROs are applicable
- Investigate the potential obsolescence of fixed assets.
- Conduct periodic impairment reviews for intangible assets.
- Conduct periodic physical counts of fixed assets.
- Recommend to management whether fixed assets should be disposed of.
- Conduct analyses related to fixed assets as requested by management.
- Prepare audit schedules relating to fixed assets, and assist the auditors in their inquirie
- Prepare property tax returns.
- Represent the company during any audits by a government that involve fixed assets.
- Track company expenditures for fixed assets in comparison to the capital budget and management authorizations.
Requirements
- B.Sc or its equivalent in Accounting
- SAP FICO Compliant
- ICAN and ACCA is an advantage
- Good excel skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Inclination to learn and grow
- 5+ years of fixed asset accounting experience in an Accounting job is required

Job Title: Budget Accountant
Location: Abuja (FCT)
Description
- We are looking to hire an experienced Budget Accountant with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with Managers to develop the departmental budgets
- Review budget proposals for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with laws and other regulations
- Combine all the program and department budgets together into a consolidated organizational budget
- Review all funding requests for merit
- Explain their recommendations for funding requests to the Executive Management
- Help the Chief Operations Officer and Managers analyze proposed plans and find alternatives if the projected results are unsatisfactory
- Monitor organizational spending to ensure that it is within budget
- Inform program managers of the status and availability of funds
- Estimate future financial needs
Requirements
- B.Sc in Accounting
- SAP FICO Compliant
- Minimum of years proven experience in similar role
- ICAN/ACCA certification will be an added advantage
- Ability to establish and maintain good client relationships, both internally and externally at all levels
- Excellent teamwork, negotiation, organization and communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail
- Familiarity with data entry and analysis
- Highly competent in Ms Excel, accounting software and invoice discounting.
Job Title: Financial Accountant
Location: Abuja (FCT)
About The Job
- The Accountant will keep financial records, prepare reports, and update financial information. The Accountant must be familiar with accounting procedures and should have experience with accounting software programs (SAP).
- The ideal candidate will be able to process business transactions, handle accounts payable and receivable, expense reports, receipts, and other financial matters. Proven accounting experience required.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare end-of-month reports
- Prepare audits, forecasts, and other fiscal planning.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company including daily account reconciliation, cash/treasury management, and internal/external financial & compliance reporting
- Prepare financial reports in accordance with local and regulatory accounting principles and ensure compliance with the accounting Policies (IFRS)
- Support periodic reporting to stakeholders
- Fact-checking invoices for payment and processing
- Processing billing adjustments and refunds
- Handling bookkeeping, including daily bank reconciliation
- Maintaining Loan ledgers and other general ledgers on SAP

- We are looking to hire an experienced Cost Accountant with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the cost accounting system, documents and records of the organization
- Collect cost information and maintain an expenses database
- Construct data accumulation systems
- Determine fixed costs (e.g. salaries, rent and insurance)
- Plan and record variable costs (e.g. purchases of raw material and operations costs)
- Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies
- Prepare budgeting reports (for the company and for each department)
- Analyze and report profit margins
- Prepare (monthly, quarterly and annual) cost forecasts
- Assisting in month-end and year-end closing

Requirements
