Job Title: Java Developer
Location: Lagos
Job Description
What you’ll do:
- Our Engineering team is lean, yet effective. As a Java Developer, Your main responsibilities will include architecting solutions, working on new features and performance improvements for products, developing and finding solutions to customer specific issues and enhancements, working closely with the team towards achieving consistency across application layers.
Core Responsibilities
- Perform development of Java and Spring framework
- Perform unit and integration testing
- Participate in the project evaluation and provide recommendations for future activities
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of First degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering or other related fields
- Good problem solving skills
- Relevant background in developing Java applications, good knowledge of Java core concepts, web services (REST or SOAP APIs) and application servers (JBoss, Tomcat, etc).
- Experience with AGILE development tools & processes (GIT, SVN, Jenkins, bug tracking applications)
- Relevant knowledge of database systems and the SQL language
- Knowledge of system administration and networking for Windows server and Linux based systems will be an added advantage.
Job Title: Business/Sales Development Officer
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- Our BU team is lean, yet effective. As a Business development Officer, Your will work alongside the BU team in meeting or exceed the assigned sales targets by selling services for GIS Applications Development and Data Management Services. .
- Work with partners to position and sell our services across sectors like Utilities/Telco/State and Local Government/Commercial and Transportation
- Up on leads as well as initiating contact with prospective customers
- Independently develop new accounts by following up on leads as well as initiating contact with prospective customers
- Collaborate with Business Development and Program Management teams to ensure aligned approach to effectively deliver excellent services.
Requirements
- Minimum of First degree in GIS related courses
- 3-5years years experience
- Relevant background sales and marketing environments
- Good understanding of GIS value Preposition
- Excellent customer interface skills – communication & ability to deliver presentation, drive meetings. Develop long term valued relationships with the client.
- Good problem solving skills
- Ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment, work effectively under high pressure, growth mode.
Job Title: Front End Developer
Location: Lagos
Job Description
What you’ll do:
- Our Engineering team is lean, yet effective. As a Front-End Developer, you will be responsible for the client side of our service.
- Your primary focus will be to implement a complete user interface in the form of a desktop web app, with a focus on performance.
- You will be a key member of the product team helping us shape and improve the visualization of all software applications on the web and mobile.
Core Responsibilities
- Delivering a complete front end application
- Writing tested and documented JavaScript, HTML and CSS
- Cooperating with the Java Developers in the process of building the RESTful API
- Ensuring high performance on mobile and desktop
- Implementation of web service clients
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of First degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering or other related fields
- Expertise with common, responsive UI web frameworks. e.g., jQuery, Bootstrap, etc.
- You have proficiency with Git and modern build tools (e.g. Gulp, Grunt)
- Knowledge of AngularJs, NodeJs will be an added advantage
- Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS
- Experience working with SQL and NoSql databases will be a plus.
