Job Title: Security Operations Engineer
Location: Lagos
Job Function
- Participate in the delivery of cybersecurity operations through vulnerability and threat identification, incident detection and response, forensic investigations, patch and vulnerability management. Engage with infrastructure and applications teams in mitigation and remediation efforts.
- Engage with the other IT units to establish and enforce security best practices, protection objectives and process improvements.
- Review and make recommendations regarding on-prem, datacenter and cloud infrastructure, networking and security settings and posture
- Create and maintain key metrics that are indicative of the security posture of the business infrastructure.
- Keep abreast of threat intelligence feeds to stay abreast of industry reports and emerging threat that may affect the business
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree / HND in Computer Science, Information Technology or Cybersecurity related field.
- 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity
- Experience with Windows / Unix / Linux Operating System with a focus on cybersecurity
- Relevant industry certifications (i.e CISSP, CASP+CEH, GCIH, GCIA, OSCP)
- 3+ years of experience with deploying and maintaining security solution including but not limited to SIEMs (Arcsight), endpoint protection (enterprise level anti-virus, anti-malware), Vulnerability Management (Nessus, Qualys) and network/system level intrusion detection and prevention (TrendMicro, Tripwire, Fortinet, etc).
- Communicates clearly with technical and business owners
- Familiarity with regulations and frameworks such as NIST, PCI, ISO 27001.
Job Title: Security Analyst
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Contract
Job Function
- Work with the business’ cybersecurity operations team to protect the business’ assets from unauthorized access, unauthorized data alteration or denial of service through vulnerability and threat identification, incident detection and response and forensic investigations.
- Review and make recommendations regarding on-prem, datacenter and cloud infrastructure, networking and security settings and posture
- Create and maintain key metrics that are indicative of the security posture of the business infrastructure
- Keep abreast of threat intelligence feeds to stay abreast of industry reports and emerging threat that may affect the business.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree / HND in Computer Science, Information Technology or Cybersecurity related field.
- 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity
- 3+ years of experience as a SOC / Forensic analyst supporting cybersecurity incident response
- 3+ years of experience with Arcsight SIEM
- Comfortable with Network / PCAP analysis log analysis, TCP/IP concepts network and routing protocols and various operating systems (Windows/Unix/Linux)
- Relevant industry certifications (i.e CISSP, CASP+CEH, GCIH, GCIA, OSCP)
- Communicates clearly with technical and business owners
- Familiarity with regulations and frameworks such as NIST, PCI, ISO 27001
