Job Title: Structural Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities
 

  • Perform structural design and analysis calculations using governing codes and standards, engineering formulas, skills, and experience.
  • Assume the lead engineer’s role on assigned projects.
  • May serve as Engineer and as a designated representative on projects.
  • Coordinate work with other disciplines such as architectural, mechanical, electrical, etc.
  • Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and
  • Equipment to prepare engineering design documents.
  • Attend and participate in Client meetings.
  • Layout and details portions of projects using schematic layout by project lead engineer. May be assigned responsibility for schematic or conceptual layouts when qualified.
  • Provide drawing for own designs and produce sketches to incorporate in drawings by Designers/Drafters.
  • Research design options and document findings for project lead engineer.
  • Review shop drawings.
  • Perform field activities such as observe and record existing field conditions, take and verify measurements within project area.
  • Organize, draft, and coordinate technical documents.
  • Capable and experienced in managing and performing projects in a fast paced environment.

Qualification & Experience
The Project Engineer who is a key component of construction process must possess the following attributes: 

  • Candidates must be COREN Certified.
  • Must have minimum of HND/BSc in Civil Engineering.
  • Possess at least 5 years quality experience.
  • Must be practically and theoretically oriented


Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Location:
 Nigeria
Roles and Responsibilities
 

  • The applicant must have proficiency in construction contract administration in the following areas:
    • Preparation of Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
    • Administration of claims
    • Management of variations
    • Correspondences
    • Preparation of interim valuations
    • Preparation of final account etc.
  • The applicants must possess good knowledge/skills in costing and estimation
  • The applicants must possess good skill in the operation of Quantity Surveying software
  • The applicants must have high degree of accuracy and speed in measurement of Building and Civil Engineering work.
  • The applicants must possess good knowledge/skills in management of subcontractors and direct Labour

Qualification & Experience
The Quantity Surveyor who is also a key component of constructions process must also possess the following attributes: 

  • HND/BSc in Quantity Surveying
  • All applicants must be below 35 years
  • Minimum of 5 years post qualification working experience.
  • Possession of professional certification will be an added advantage
