Our client is a Technology Consulting company in Oniru, Victoria Island Lagos and is looking for a Finance Officer/ Front-Desk.
This person will be responsible for maintaining the day to day Financial, Accounting, Administrative and personnel services in order to meet organizational requirements for our client.
JOB TITLE: Finance Officer/Front Desk
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- – 3 – 5 years’ experience
- – Must have a degree, preferably in Accounting or related discipline
- – Possession of ACA will be an added advantage
- – Must have a very good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- – Accounting software will be an added advantage
- – Strong numerical skills
- – Strong analytical skills
- – Strong mental recollection
- – Self starter
- – Multi-tasking capacity
RESPONSIBILITIES
- · Management Accounts Preparation
- · Prepare month end accruals and prepayment journals
- · Produce monthly management accounts; ensure accounts reconcile to nominal ledger
- · Produce balance sheet and cash flow statement as required
- · Analyse variances and explore potential problems with line managers. Make appropriate recommendations and advise on the impact
- · Undertake forecast variance analysis at agreed intervals during the year in conjunction with budget holders
- · Posting of daily transactions
- · Monthly preparation of financial statement
- · Monthly bank reconciliation
- · Updates of customers’ statements
- · Notify Management of defaults by customers
