Job Title: Builder
Location: Ikorodu, Lagos
Job Description
- Design and preparation of plans
- Construction of buildings
- Ensuring all design and material changes are correctly incorporated into the construction project
- Ensure the correct designs are put up
- Mixing concrete
- Working with other professionals – engineers, architects and surveyors.
Requirements
- BSc / HND / OND in Building Technology, Civil Engineering or related field.
- A minimum of 2years cognate experience in similar position is desired
- Should have a strong technical background with negotiating skills
- Must have hands-on approach and commitment to work,
- Must have eyes for details
- Must be able to interpret structural drawing
Job Title: Site Manager
Location: Ikorodu, Lagos
Job Description
- Oversee the day to day running of the site
- Go out to site to interpret design drawings to workers
- To control and manage the site engineering department
- To ensure the construction project follows the required design, using the correct materials
- Interfacing between the company and the client
- Developing a Site Safety plan
- Oversee building work and manage multiple construction sites
- Check technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly
- Supervise contracted staff, junior engineers and all artisans
- Prepare site reports and other paper work
- Ensure projects meet agreed specifications, budgets and timescales
- Liaise with subcontractors and other professional staff especially quantity surveyors and the overall project manager
- Provide technical advice and solve problems on site
- Negotiate the prices of materials and scheduling material and equipment purchases and deliveries
- Providing estimates for projects.
- Managing budgets and project resources
Requirements
- BSc / HND / OND in Building Technology, Civil Engineering or related field.
- Some site supervision experience
- In-depth knowledge of engineering, technology, building, construction, and design.
- Proficient in the use of computer software like Microsoft project
- Proven track record of managing personnel and material resources
- Strong time management and project management skills
- Should have a strong technical background with negotiating skills
- Must have hands-on approach and commitment to work,
- Should be able to use software analysis (AUTOCAD, Civil 3d, etc) for design
- Must have eyes for details
- A minimum of 3 years cognate experience in similar position is desired
- Must be able to interpret structural drawings
