First Independent Power Limited (FIPL) is a Power Generation company located in Rivers state with 4 simple gas turbine power plants with a total capacity of 541MW.
Following the nation’s privatization exercise, Sahara, through its power division, Sahara Power Group and sundry affiliations, acquired FIPL.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Security Officer
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers, Nigeria
Job Type: Full Time
Job Details
- FIPL presently needs Security Officers to join her workforce and will report to the Chief Security Officer.
Purpose Statements
- To assist the CSO in developing and implementing strategic security protocols and procedures.
Key Deliverables
- Enforce FIPL security procedures and protocols
- Support CSO with daily, weekly and other reports collated from various plants
- Monitor CCTV and report breaches
- Investigate breaches if directed
- Interpret security procedures to guards
- Carry out routine security assessments and surveys
- Intelligence gathering
- Guards supervision
- Carry out other functions as assigned by the CSO
Qualification, Knowledge / Skills
- Holder of a Degree or HND in Social / Management Sciences or any relevant discipline
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Industrial Security
- Must be computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft word and excel
- Physically fit with ability to work with little or no supervision
- Should live in Port Harcourt
