HarvestPlus improves nutrition and public health by developing and promoting biofortifled food crops that are rich in vitamins and minerals, and providing global leadership on biofortification evidence and technology. HarvestPlus is part of the CGIAR Research Program on Agriculture for Nutrition and Health (A4NH). CGIAR is a global agriculture research partnership for a food secure future. Its science is carried out by 15 research centers in collaboration with hundreds of partner organizations.

Job Title: Monitoring and Evaluation Officer
Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Contract: 1–year renewable contract
Duties
Successful candidates will amont things perform the following duties:
Programme Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning:
- Coordinate the implementation of M&E activities across program life cycle and ensure minimum standards are adhered to.
- Conduct baseline studies to establish baseline values for selected indicators.
Management Information Systems and Reporting:
- Advance the use of innovative ICT tools to simplify data collection and transmission to country and global program database, Please check our website for more details.
Qualification
- Master’s Degree in Agricultural Economics, Economics, Statistics, Social Science, or related field with minimum of four (4) years’ experience performing monitoring and evaluation in a well-structured environment or donor funded organization.
Competencies:
The ideal candidate must have:
- Good technical expertise in managing and developing M&E systems; theoretical and practical background in M&E.
- Good knowledge of biofortification value chains, programming, and results chains.
- Working experience with DFID, BMGF and USAID funded programs.
