Universal Careers has been mandated by one of its clients in the travel industry to recruit a Social Media Strategist

Job Title – Social Media Strategist

Skills/ Requirement
• Understand all social media channels;
• Experience in significantly growing social platforms across multiple channels;
• Experience in driving strategy and execution to increase engagement;
• Experience in at least 1 developing country;
• Experience with setting up/ finding/ tweaking and implementing social media
tools/ widgets and gadgets;
• Experience with managing social media campaign budgets;
• Experience using power editor; and
• Understand how social media fits into global marketing strategy.

Responsibilities
• Drive social media campaigns and overall strategy across ZA and global
platforms;
• Conceptualization and execution of creative cross channel social campaigns;
• Day-to-day management of social platforms;
• Work with team to convert social media followers into customers; and
• Track and report on social media initiatives.
