The Delta State Polytechnic, established by the Delta State Polytechnic Ogwashi-Uku Law, 2002, is one of the three polytechnics in Delta State, Nigeria, Located in Ogwashi-Uku, Delta State, Nigeria. The polytechnic offers National Diplomas and Higher National Diplomas in Art and Design (Fashion Design and Clothing Technology, and General Art), Business (Accountancy, Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Marketing, Mass Communication, Office Technology Management and Production Operations Management), Engineering (Agriculture and Bio-environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Foundry Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering and Welding and Fabrication) and Applied Sciences (Computer Science, Mathematics and Statistics and Hospitality and Tourism Management).

Overview
- The candidate for the post of a Builder II must be a person of good
- professional skills.
- He / She reports to the Polytechnic Director of Physical Planning for the day to day administration of the Department of Physical Planning.
Qualifications and Experiences
The candidates for the post of Builder Il of the Polytechnic, must possess any of the following qualifications registerable with the Council of Registered Builders of Nigeria (CORBON):
- A good Bachelor’s Degree (minimum of Second Class Lower Division) in Building or Building Technology from a recognized University.
- A good pass in the Final Examination of the Nigeria Institute of Building (NIOB)
- A good pass in the Final Part II Examination of the Chartered Institute of Builders of England (CIBE):
- A Master of Science Degree in Building from a recognized University, is an added advantage.
