Job Title: Credit and Risk Analyst

About the Role
- As a Credit Analyst you will be responsible for offering credit services to our customers. This includes setting up, increasing and decreasing credit limits for new and existing customers. If you have a high sense of urgency, attention to detail, and world-class customer service, this role is the right opportunity for you.
What You’ll be Doing
- Review and process credit applications for new customer accounts
- Collaborate with sales representatives to collect necessary documents to approve credit for new and existing customers
- Process and review credit limit increase requests on existing accounts using credit report information, payment trend analysis, obtaining and reviewing customer financials, marketplace information, and debt and stock ratings
- Resolve customer complaints and verify select financial transactions.
- Perform proactive risk reviews on a portfolio of customer accounts and collaborate with assigned teams to improve results
- Research potential creditors from banks, credit bureaus, and other credit services
Requirements
What you need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in a credit risk or accounting role involving the assessment of financial statements and ratios.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, handle pressure, and work independently in an effective and positive manner
- Excellent organization skills, attention to detail and follow-up skills, strong dependent decision-making skills, strong quatitative and analytical skills.
- Superb written and verbal communication skills with the ability to perform ad-hoc credit assessments and articulate risk outcomes in a timely manner to Senior Management.
- Demonstrated track record of proficiency in MS Excel and use of the program to build risk tools.
- Proven team player with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
