We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Digital Sales Representative

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Contract

Job Summary

• We are looking for a results-driven Digital Sales Representative to identify and convince potential clients to purchase advertising space, plan and execute a new digital business strategy to maximize revenue growth and diversify existing revenue streams.

Responsibilities

• Building and sustaining long-lasting relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Conducting research on potential clients’ products or services and determining the majority of their target audience.
• Persuading clients to purchase company advertising products & services by communicating the benefits of advertising on Daily Post.
• Setting up meetings with potential clients to present advertising opportunities on Daily Post and addressing their concerns.
• Attending sales meetings, training and sending reports as required.

Your KPIs will include the following:

• Newmarket sector penetration.
• Performance against agreed targets and KPIs including; Sales, Calls, Meetings, Opportunities.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with 1 – 2 years of work experience.
• Proven track record in client relationship management and delivering new business growth.
• Extensive sales experience in one or more of the following sectors: media, advertising or content-related businesses.
• Proven track record in managing, driving and motivating a commercially minded and targeted account management team.
• Extensive knowledge of commercial models and revenue trends across digital publishing.
• Analytical knowledge in terms of understanding data and ability to make recommendations.
• The role will involve working closely with marketing, editorial, product development and clients directly.
• Formal sales training will be beneficial.
