We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Head, Transmission & Metro Optics
Location: Abuja (FCT)

Responsibilities
- Responsible for transmission network planning, engineering, architecture, and the development of technical standards and interface applications.
- Develops, plans, and implements the overall strategic goals of Phase3 Telecom transmission network covering SDH, WDM and PON technologies, and Aerial, Underground Last Mile Fiber Optics Infrastructure.
- Responsible for evaluating and recommend changes to current and future network/technology requirements to meet the Phase3 telecom’s need.
- Provides necessary planning support for regulatory applications and required submissions.
- Researches and evaluates new products and services; recommends enhancements or improvements to the existing network systems
- Manage and support all Release and Software upgrades over different OPTICS technologies; Wireless transmission, Cross Connect, DWDM and other technologies as appropriate.
- Provide pre-and post-sales support to all the Business opportunities, anticipations and projects.
- Provide a secondary support in network emergency response event when required.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a B.Eng / B.Tech Degree with 10 – 12 years relevant work experience.
