Job Description
- Under broad direction, leads the Halliburton Consulting business for a country/area for the purpose of ensuring the delivery of quality subsurface projects, customer service, and business growth that maximizes shareholder value.
- Capable of leading a subsurface technical team with multidisciplinary experts while delivering high-end technical studies, including but not limited to seismic interpretation, subsurface static and dynamic modeling, reservoir management plans, well planning and construction, and field development planning for the customers.
- Have a good overall understanding of various geological, geophysical, reservoir engineering, field planning, and well construction software applications used by operators from Halliburton Landmark as well as other software providers.
- Develops and maintains customer contacts for the purpose of assessing local needs and service quality.
- Serves as a liaison for Halliburton Energy Services Business Development.
- Collaborates with Halliburton Energy Services Business Development and Technology managers to develop and implement service pricing strategies and technology initiatives.
- Develops an annual business plan and ongoing forecasts of business performance for the country/area.
- Responsible for profit/loss/ROI and corrective actions.
- Responsible for the development of future business leaders and succession planning within Halliburton Consulting.
- Job role directly affects the profitability and reputation of the organization.
Requirements
- Skills are typically acquired through the completion of an Undergraduate Degree in Geology, Geophysics, or a related Engineering discipline and a minimum of 15 years of progressive experience with an O&G operator or in the energy services industry managing subsurface studies projects.
- Additionally, the experience should include managing the work and activities of others.
