Job Description
- We are looking for a high-performing Sales Manager to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative.
- This role is targeted toward the wheat industry in Nigeria. Experience with selling to the key flour mills will be a major advantage.
- As a Sales Manager at Trading Partner, you will be responsible for maximizing our sales potential, crafting sales plans, and justifying those plans to the upper management.
Responsibilities
- Selling wheat grain to wholesalers and importing off-takers in bulk.
- Managing organizational sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue, and expense controls
- Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensures a strong market presence
- Meeting planned sales goals and setting individual sales targets
- Coordinating with marketing on lead generation
- Promoting the company and our products.
- Building and promoting strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
- Presenting sales, revenue, and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management
- Identifying emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales in the Agriculture sector (wheat industry in particular)
- Proven track record of meeting planned sales quotas
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong business sense and industry expertise
- Excellent leadership skills
- Results-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Deep understanding of CRM systems and best practices.
