Cornerstone Insurance Plc was incorporated on 26 July, 1991 as a private limited liability company and became a public limited liability company, quoted on the Nigerian Stock Exchange in 1997. The organisation was established to conduct insurance business in a professional, ethical and customer-focused manner.

The Company is licensed and re-certified by the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) to do both General and Life businesses and the classes of Insurance business we currently undertake include the following: Motor Vehicle, Aviation, Marine, Engineering All Risks, Asset Protection, Liability to Third Party, Oil & Gas, Group Life, Credit Life, Mortgage Protection, Term Assurance, Wealth Creation Products and Takaful (Islamic Insurance).

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Unit Manager

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • To ensure and maintain levels of productivity as prescribed.
  • To develop various business segments as per the sales strategy.
  • To train Financial Planners working closely with the Training unit.
  • To uphold the brand image and ensure compliance with all internal as well as external regulations.

Requirements / Skills

  • Candidates should possess a B.Sc / BA / HND qualification with 3 – 10 years work experience.
  • Leadership skills to supervise staff, mentor new staff and delegate tasks.
  • Confidence, conflict resolution, emotional intelligence, motivation, decision-making and communication.

Salary
N130,000 – N150,000 monthly
