Job Description

  • Our client is looking to hire a senior / middle management officer of not less than 10 years in Oil and Gas company to head its various sales departments to rebuild, reposition  sales machinery for higher  productivity.
  • The ideal candidate will have supervisory responsiblity over the following depatments:
    • Head,  Retail Services  Management Group (Filling Stations)
    • Head, Commercial / Depot Sales Dept.
    • Head, Lube / Lubricants Group
    • Head, Aviation fuel Services Group
    • Head Gas business Services  Group
    • Head, public sector / Govt biz. (NNPC, PPMC, NPTDC/NIMASA/NETCO etc )

Job Requirements

  • He must have at least 10 years relevant experience on the job in an established company.
  • The ideal candidate must be a very dynamic person with multiple skills set to deliver on companies’ sales and business development objectives.
  • He must be bale, to win customers, high and low level customers towards goal attainment
  • He or she is expected to set up a crack team to deliver the group’s objectives with the sole goal of performance numbers attainment.
  • The candidate  must be results oriented, with strong leadership capabilities and product knowledge. He or she must also be aggressive for total performance.
  • The candidate must  be able to develop business development strategy to reposition the company into a formidable sales architecture.
  • He or she will be responsible for leading sales teams to reach sales targets and will be primarily tasked with hiring and training team members, setting quotas, evaluating and adjusting performance, and developing processes that drive sales.
  • He is to manage and  cross-sell opportunities between all business segments and will be saddled with the responsibility of business  services expansion from the current state, using acquisition,   franchising, branding / branding  model etc.
  • The candidate must also be available as he or she may sometimes be expected to travel.
  • The candidate must have strong academic qualifications  from recognized tertiary institutions.
