Job Title: Human Resources (HR) Advisory Executive

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • As an HR Advisory Executive, you will be responsible for giving counsel to companies regarding their human resource policies and procedures.
  • You would be offering guidance on HR outsourcing, employee recruitment and retention, evaluating employee performance and maintaining employee relations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Providing guidance and support in relation to recruitment, discipline and grievance, performance management, organizational change, training and development.
  • Conducting job evaluations.
  • Consulting on issues related to workplace relations and performance management.
  • Training and advising managers on strategies for recruitment, selection, and interview evaluation procedures.
  • Participating in the appointment process for potential employees.
  • Monitoring recruitment metrics such as retention rates and staff turnover.
  • Discussing terms and conditions of employment and benefits with staff members.
  • Reviewing employees’ work progress using an employee appraisal system and making recommendations, if necessary.
  • Advising on staff development.
  • Updating HR policies in line with current legislation and informing staff about changes.

Job Requirements

  • Candidates should possess an HND / B.Sc / M.Sc Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field with 2 – 4 years relevant work experience in HR Advisory.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with people at different levels, including senior staff members.
  • Proven leadership ability.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Working knowledge of HR systems and software.
  • The ability to research, analyze, and make logical decisions within a given timeframe.
  • Updated knowledge of recruitment strategies and employment legislation.
  • Excellent writing ability to present clear and equitable company policies.
  • The ability to develop trusting relationships with relevant stakeholders.
