Job Description

  • We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Business Development Executive to join our team at Salad Africa.
  • As a Business Development Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our business and expanding our customer base.
  • Your primary responsibility will be identifying and engaging with prospective clients, promoting our financial solutions, and guiding them through onboarding.
  • You will work closely with the Account Manager and Customer Service team to ensure a seamless transition and exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
Prospecting and Lead Generation:

  • Identify and target potential clients, including employers and organizations, who can benefit from our salary advance solutions.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitors, and potential opportunities for business growth.
  • Develop and implement strategies to generate leads and build a robust pipeline of prospective clients.

Client Acquisition and Product Demo::

  • Present and demonstrate Salad Africa’s financial solutions to prospective clients, emphasizing the benefits and value proposition.

Business Development and Expansion:

  • Continuously identify and explore new business opportunities, partnerships, and channels for growth.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to represent Salad Africa and establish connections within the financial and HR sectors.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Track and report on sales activities, client acquisition, and revenue generation.
  • Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to identify areas for improvement and inform business strategy

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven business development or sales track record, preferably in the financial or technology industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation abilities.
  • Self-motivated and target-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant sales tools.
