Job Title: Vendor Coordinator Engineer

Project: Rehabilitation & Revamping of Port Harcourt Refinery
Hours/rotation: Monday to Saturday; No Rotation
Job Summary / Role Description
- He coordinates the Vendors activities at Site.
- He operates in compliance with the quality requirements, health/environmental/safety regulations and following the stated procedures.
- He reports to the Commissioning Manager.
- He is assigned to the Project by Commissioning Head of Department.
Duties and Responsibilities
His main responsibilities are:
- Implement the Vendors deployment schedule prepared by the CMM ensuring its compliance with the needs of the commissioning group and keeping it updated following the project needs..
- When requested from the Commissioning Manager co-ordinate technically the Vendors specialist in the execution of the field activities.
- Monitor and control Vendors’ budget and vendors’ attendance at Site.
- Ensure that the Vendors specialists comply with all necessary administrative tasks while present at Site.
- Follow-up the correspondence between site and vendor representative to formalize any change or modification raised during vendor activities or discovered during site check;
- Cooperate with Head Office for the organization of the presence of the Vendors specialist at Site.

Person Specification
Knowledge & Qualifications:
- University Degree or equivalent Study background.
Experience:
- Management experience for an EPC company in for, at least, two plants as Vendor Co-ordinator Engineer.
- Plants for the gas treatment

- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail, management skills
- Team-oriented skills, self-motivation and direction, with strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution
