Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive the business development plan – sales plan, ideas generation strategy, business reporting requirements, competitor analysis, monitoring & relationship management strategy.
  • Identify target market, design optimum outreach strategies for top prospects; identify most appropriate and effective ways to position the company’s services.
  • Identify, generate, and manage new business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationship with customers.
  • Build strategic relationships and partner with key financial industry services players and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver presentations to customers as required.
  • Conduct market research, and analyze data to identify and define customer base.
  • Identify and propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities.
  • Monitor and report on performance against agreed targets.
  • Continually assess the business development team’s marketing effort and impact on the bottom line.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Insurance, Marketing, Business, or related field
  • About 5 years of proven sales experience in Insurance brokerage business (Professional qualification (CIIN) will be an added advantage.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, to express technical and nontechnical concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Excellent organizational skills to meet goals and set priorities.
  • Be proactive, organized and handle work under stressful and uncertain environments.
  • Excellent organizational, time management and follow-up skills.
  • Dynamic, articulate and well-spoken.
